I felt Langanas is very commercialised and marketed towards the younger generation, and speaking to other tourists they felt Langanas has gotten very run down in recent years, The beach is smaller as its built up of restaurants, bars and shops, spoiling it's beauty which is a pity, as we hired a car we prefer to travel to the surrounding older prettier villages finding these more pleasing to the eye

We like peace and quite and so go in April and October, this means it's very peaceful but also means most places are closed. There is a lovely restaurant called Panos that stays open all year from midday and there is an app you can download on your phone called efood that allows ordering and delivery of meals and snacks from a number of really friendly local businesses. The best taxi firm we have found it called Roadstar and have been absolutely brilliant every stay

Don't be fooled into thinking Laganas is just for the party and night club scene. Yes, I know it's excellent for this too, but also a lovely place to stay if you want to relax, enjoy lovely beeches, beautiful scenery and great food. Laganas is more for parity people then for family holiday as there are a lot of pubs night clubs and a lot of noise at the night. it is nice if you are young couple and want to have night life and party and less time to spend on the beach. on the other hand, the beach is huge, it's long and nice ,water is clear and maybe is perfect for kids as it is not deep at all (I must go maybe for 500 m to come to deep part of the sea)ninaRomania

Location is perfect, right on the beach - on the right side you can find all the beach bars of Laganas, while on the left side there's a long, quiet beach without any sunbeds/bars. So everyone should be able to find a spot that fits their needs :) There's a supermarket right next door, which was also convenient. There's a daily cleaning service which was really appreciated, because sand gets literally everywhere. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, we have no complaints!ZsófiaHungary

We were able to leave our luggage for few hours after check out because our flight was in the evening, she helped us with transfer to the AirPort and she also even offered that we could take a shower before flight. That means a lot for a tourist. Room was clean, really close to main road with restaurants and bars and also close to the beach. Perfect location for young people. Everyone is really nice and helpful in Laganas. I really recommend :)

The staff are all extra friendly and helpful they made our say very enjoyable especially Alejandro. the chef was happy to make my baby mash potato every day. our room was cleaned and clean towel everyday. you can walk to cameo island in ten mins there is a small stoney path via the beach. I wouldn't recommend taking a buggy we just carried our 10month old baby.
