The check in staff were wonderful….especially the kind woman you gave us so much good advice about what to see and do and arrange rental car for us, and took care of our luggage etc….. she really went out of her way and we appreciated it.
The location was perfect for us coming and leaving with the ferry…..walking distance.
The hotel was very accommodating when we needed to make a last minute change to our reservation…..thank you!

Fantastic place and great staff. We hope to come back!
Skala is delightful, but Patmos overall is incredible.
Skala is delightful, but Patmos overall is incredible. We visited the beautiful village of Chora, the monastery of St John, the windmills, and the spiritual cave of the Apocolypse, where John wrote the book of Revelation in the Bible. All was achieved in one day by taxi from Skala. The entire trip was from the island of Kos by ferry, with a 2 night stay in Skala. Well worth it. Wonderful !! Two beautiful islands in one holiday !!

Visit to monastery amazing. Beach at Kampos very relaxing. Shopping expensive. Plenty of restaurants with lots of choices. Grigos has a lovely restaurant on the shore. Easy to hire a car and can also access most places by bus.

There are many paths that appear to be footpaths but are actually roads. Once you are aware of this, it makes it easier to travel with a scooter, which I recommend. these paths are also great to get around by foot and it is a nice walkable area.

Pleasant, very typical Greek port town, with meandering streets and reasonably restrained tourism. Some great restaurants. Easy access to the famous monastery by bus, and the cave where John supposedly wrote the Book of Revelation; also easy bus access to some great beaches (and some not so great). Well worth a short visit, but not if your preference is for boisterous nightlife.

A very nice compact town with a lovely array of shops, restaurants and bars. Beautiful harbour and a stunning hora above the main town. We were there in the 3rd week of September and the buses were still running. Netia restaurant at the far end of town was our favourite, followed by Pantelis. Best beach accessible by bus was Kampos.

Skala is a lovely place to visit.
Skala is a lovely place to visit. Hiring a car made a difference and we were able to travel around. Stefonos did hire cars and bikes at reasonable price. Would definitely recommend this property.
Owner and his wife very pleasant and accommodating
You can see the hotel from the ferry when you come into the port. Get off the ferry, turn left and its 300m up the road, a good quiet location just outside Skala town.
My room was clean and airy, with a great view over the bay.
There was a really good buffet breakfast available (extra cost) which could be taken outside or in the cool dining room inside. There was also a good lounge area.
All the staff were friendly and helpful and they had a small room for keeping bags for early and late check ins and outs.
A very enjoyable stay at Blue Bay.
lovely hospitality from the owners - that's all what it counts really, overshadowing any issue or minor things!
They even provided a mini screwdriver that was needed. They also picked us up from the port and brought us back when we were leaving, which was quite convenient.
The room was large with a nice view and a balcony
The location was ok-ish, few minutes walk to Skala town, but you definitely need a car if you want to explore Patmos. There is a parking space available
We have been looking forward to going to Patmos for some time, When we arrived at the hotel we where greeted by very friendly staff who asked us immediately if we where hungry, I was starving so I said yes. Before we even checked in they brought out this beautiful platter and cold drinks. It was one of the best check-ins I have had in my life. The rooms where great and so was the service for my entire stay, my only regret is that I did not stay longer.
This is a very centrally located hotel run by a family. Jerry and his father are passionate about their business and you feel this every moment. Rooms are nicely arranged with access to garden and privacy and with a lot of space inside. We got figs at our garden table every morning and got very good tips from Jerry when we needed to move around in Patmos. We would definitely come again at our next trip.
It was the most unique and beautiful place to stay with incredibly generous hosts, and in a perfect location to shops and restaurants. I was worried that the photos looked too good to be true—but our villa at Latmos 1860 was, in fact, absolutely great! Thank you Dimitri and Anastasia for an amazing stay at your beautiful villa. You helped us have a perfect stay on Patmos!
Nice location just a minute away from the town center. The room was nice and clean. I liked specifically that that staff was quick to answer on booking when I asked something. Liked that it's pet friendly. The hotel doesn't have parking but it wasn't a problem to find a space by the roadside just outside of the hotel.
The discreetly placed clothes drying rack on the balcony was an excellent touch, that even the best hotels don't realize is an above and beyond touch to add to a guests' stay. Thank you for going above and beyond with recommendations, as well, that only a local would know.
We visit Patmos every year the last 15 years and we are more than satisfied with the facilities service and staff attitude and behavior. I strongly recommend Skala hotel as an ideal choice, within walking distance from the main square, beach cafes restaurants.
Friendly traditional hotel, spotlessly clean, quiet and close to the port and the free municipal car park if you have a hire car. The proprietors can't do enough for you and make helpful suggestions about what to see and where to eat. Trust them on this!
Very good location. Very clean. The room was cleaned every day and towels were changed every day. Ana Maria who is the manager was very kind and helpful. We are so pleased and if we plan to go again to Patmos we will stay in the same Hotel for sure.
I loved Mr. Jacob, very attentive and helpful, his hotel is very cozy and tastefully decorated, will definitely come back. Very close to the ferry port, 2 minutes walking. Also the main attractions are all at a walking distance.
Great proximity to Skala and just back from the beach. The suite was lovely, just like the photos, with a nice little patio area to relax. The staff were great, with fruit, snacks, and drinks on arrival, and very helpful.
Great location minutes walk from Skala centre and Harbour. Close by supermarket and cafes/bars. Amazing spacious apartment with large balcony looking up to Chora and Monastery. Great place to be based while in patmos.
This place was just perfect! Could not fault anything. Close to the port, restaurants, cafés etc. The owners were extremely accommodating! If we ever can back to Patmos we would stay here without a doubt!!
The room had fresh sheets and towels every morning. The local is absolutely ideal. For the money you can't beat this hotel. I am fully satisfied, highly recommended for those traveling on a budget.
The location was perfect, in the middle of everything. the hotel was vjust a few steps from the port. the owner was very helpful. You can also rent a car from the hotel.
Extremely nice hotel owner. Best guide in town.
Clean rooms, good value for money. Comfortable beds, nice breakfast and air conditioning. 5-10min walk to Skala port.
The owners were super. Pick up and drop off at the port. Room super clean, fully equipped and spacious. Not very far from Skala main area, about 10 minutes walk.
Everything was lovely! The breakfasts each morning, the views of the beach and sea—I couldn’t recommend Marietta’s Studios enough for your visit to Skala!
