The location was excellent for accessing the ferry port and the town. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious. Everything was very clean and tidy. There are plenty of good restaurants in Vela Luca which are within 200m from the hotel. The staff were exceptional and were very attentive to requests. Breakfast is extensive with a wide range of hot and cold options.

Very comfortable bed, good size room with balcony, and the bathroom was a very good size. The facilities throughout all functioned well, plus a nice view of the harbour from the balcony. Great pillows.
The positions is close to the action in town. Highly recommend.

Superb accomodation. Loved the huge terrace and views over the bay. Perfectly set in paradise cove with very limited footfall, for those who prefer peace and quiet. Also appreciated the quick turnaround due to very late booking from my part. Highly recommend.

Great location, short walking distance from the Gradina bay. Amazing panoramic view from the balcony, surrounded by nature! In a beautiful tranquil little village. The hosts are absolutely lovely and very caring. The apartment had everything we needed.

Lots of friendly, locally-owned restaurants and bars with great character. Wonderful local food cooked in traditional style at numerous restaurants. The food was delicious everywhere we ate - all fresh local fish, seafood and vegetables in vast quantities - every serve can easily be shared by 2 people. A large range of Croatian wines were available at the restaurants and bars at very good prices. It’s very economical to wine and dine in Vela Luca. Swimming in the crystal clear sea off the rocky beaches is wonderful. Plenty of walking and cycling trails out of town into the countryside of the island. Fishing and boating activities are extensive. We enjoyed the walk and visit to the Vela Spila cave for a glimpse of life 20,000 years ago.EdTotaAustralia - 6.0Scored 6.0
Vela Luka is an ex-industrial town on Korčula island.
Vela Luka is an ex-industrial town on Korčula island. It is not as historic as the old town of Korčula (although there is an archaeological site from the Neolithic). It is more down to earth and does not try to be as upscale as the old town of Korčula which only strives for upscale tourists now. But Vela Luka is still close to super beaches and has shops and bars, that are much more pocket friendly than the old town of Korčula. Take a boat to nearby Proizd island or a taxi boat to the main beach. ... you will not be disappointed.CimoliniSlovenia - 10Scored 10

Loved the little balcony, loved the "city vibe" from the balcony! Also appreciated the fact that we were close to the town center, close to everything like shops, cafés, restaurants and supermarkets! The room was so comfy and most importantly CLEAN!

Wasn't as lively as some other places I've visited in Croatia/felt a little like it has fallen on hard times, but we still really loved the community atmosphere. Its very different to Korcula town, it has great places to swim within walking distance of the town, has good value restaurants and accommodation, its not yet spoilt, lovely to mix with locals as seems to have more local holiday makers than overseas ones. Good cycling but not many places to refuel on hot days - so be warned, carry plenty of water with you! Don't expect pretty narrow streets and hustle and bustle - ( like in Hvar, Trogir and Korcula old town) but do expect a nice chilled time for a very reasonable price with welcoming locals.NashieUnited Kingdom

The place is run by a local family and Mare, the main host, is extremely friendly and truly helpful! As the place was quite booked (like Vela Luka in general), we used three different rooms during our stay and all were equally good (that's why I'm giving scores three times). It is only 10 minutes cool trail walk to the water taxi, which will take you downtown to roam the shops, restaurants and bars. The owners are very nice and helpful, and it felt like they are family. They truly care for their guests and help you with everything, such a sweat couple! The rooms are very clean and modern. Air-conditioning worked perfectly, which is very important, it was hot and humid outside.

Only 10min on foot to cetral Vela Luka with shops, beautiful port, ferries, festivals ect. Shaded parking, easy access to main road. You can use the barbecue w/o charge, and order homemade food from host's mum. Great place.

The terrace was amazing at night, where you can just sit back and watch the stars. The beach is practically in the backyard, where we even had our own spot, just for us. After going for refreshing swims we loved using the outdoor shower. The grill also made our stay pleasant, you can buy fresh fish in Vela Luka at the markets. We are already planning our next stay. I highly recommend this place.

The upper terrace has an amazing view and the most beautiful sunsets can be enjoyed from there🥰we had a garage which was super practical,plus the car was always cool. In a nice small steet very calm and close to every thing you need. There is also a nice and calm terrace for the rooms with shadow, tables and chairs, so for chilling it was very nice. The room is chic, the bed large and comfortable and the bathroom very well appointed. All of it extremely clean and of a high end hotel caliber. The location can’t be beat though some late night revelry could be heard (we did not mind). We were given a parking pass for any town parking. Check in/out was easy and the people at the desk were very helpful.

Beach is right by the house and the photos really do represent the place in real life. The city Vela Luka is about 7mins from the house, by car. Its not really possible to walk there. Hosts were super nice! The place is equiped with everything you need to cook with and there is a nice grill on the balcony. Amazing view.
