We have been traveling from Dublin, and after a long day at the cliffs of Moher, it was such a treat to arrive to some local hospitality and definitely the best dinner we have had since arriving in Ireland.
Wonderful staff, comfortable stay, and would definitely remember this little gem!
Doolin Inn is situated in Doolin, overlooking Fisher Street and located at the start of the Cliffs of Moher walk. This 3-star hotel offers a conierge service, full of knowledge of the local area.

Liscannor is a perfect spot.
Liscannor is a perfect spot. Everything is on your doorstep and is somewhat quieter then Lahimch. There are a few bars and places to eat but there is nothing better to just sit down and enjoy a few pints with the most friendly people after a day of walking over the magnificent Cliffs on Moher or indeed any of the other major attractions in Clare

The Cottage was cozy, we had a slight mishap with getting into the cottage on arrival, but within half an hour we were helped into the cottage.
You get glimpses of the stunning ocean view from the kitchen and upstairs. The sliding door needs a little attention as it was very difficult to open, to such an extent that we just used the other door.
The 2 rooms are cozy and spacious, not much room for clothing though and the wardropes was a little wobbly, as it would keep falling of the rails when you open them.
There is only 1 shower and toilet in the cottage, on the ground floor, which is not great for going to the toilet at night, so just a heads-up for the elderly or folks with younger kids.
The overall layout is very clever and neat. It was spotless and very cozy, once you left the property you have breathtaking views of the ocean. No shops or amenities that we could find that is in short walking distance, but close enough to get to with a car.
Very quick to get to the cliffs of moher, which was the highlight of the trip, unfortunately the weather was not very pleasant, but still worth the trip.
Overall I would give it a 7 out of 10.

Liscannor is a small village with a a couple of Pubs and of course the Anchor Inn - a great place to stay and eat. It is an ideal base to explore Clare and to visit nearby Lahinch and of course the Cliffs of Moher. We had the bikes and cycling in the area is relatively safe and a great way to see the local scenery. The Rock Shop is well worth a visit for either gifts or a coffee and snack.

Liscannor is very convenient for the Cliffs of Moher. You can start a cliff walk from there or go to Geuiran’s Path for a shorter walk. €5 per adult entry to the car park is excellent value. Have coffee in the Rock cafe after. Fabulous food and location.

Liscannor is a lovely little spot .
Liscannor is a lovely little spot . We had lunch in hotel and it was lovely. Covid restrictions in place .petrol station had no sanitisers but staff were lovely . The public house beside where we stayed Joseph mchugh is a disaster. No social distancing at all for the locals . They stand at the bar drinking and no a sign of a toasted sandwich. Did not feel safe in there at all . Finished our food and left . We were refused a drink during to restrictions but the locals drank like a normal Saturday night . No masks on staff after 10 30 . This place lowers the tone of a beautiful place . The best place to eat is Vaughan anchor Inn. Omg fine dining in an amazing setting. Covid rules adhered to %100 . Food was amazing and staff very helpful.
Amazing place, gorgeous view all around and 15 minute walk to the cliffs the back way which is a lot less busier than the main entrance and very cheap! The host is so kind and was happy to help with anything we needed! The house is right off the main road between bus stops of Liscannor and the Cliffs of Moher stop. 13 minute drive to Doolin. Walking through the Irish countryside each day was a dream! Place was very clean, new and nice and the perfect size! Already dreaming of coming back!
This room and bathroom were very new and spacious with all the modern amenities one could wish for. The hostess went out of her way to make us feel welcome and comfortable and also giving us great tips on where to dine and what to see. The property is just a few miles from the Cliffs of Moher. At night we had dinner in Lahinch coupled with a beach walk that goes for miles! It was truly extraordinary.
Excellent little cottage right at the outskirts of Liscannor. 2 min walk to pubs and restaurants and 5 minutes drive to Lahinch. We'll appointed House with great bathroom and bedding which is very important when u are away from home. Great base to explore the area with Cliffs of Moher and Dollin right on your doorstep. Will be back
Susanne, the hostess was the nicest and friendliest ever. Met us at bus stop and transported our luggage to the house.
Provided books about Liscannor and then met us as we departed to say good bye, It is acharming cottage with expansive views of the bay and 500 feet from bus stop to the Cliffs of Moher (15 minute ride)
It's a very welcoming place, stayed for 3 nights. Very good food. Small menu so it doesn't get complicated. Tried almost everything on there and it was all wonderful.
And the rooms where comfy, big, and clean.
I felt very welcome and the staff was great. And busstop is next to the hotel.
Jonny and Eihmin are exceptional and kind hosts: they gave us many tips about they places we planned to visit.
Their place is very nice and is situated in a strategic position to get to the main attractions of county Clare and in particular the Cliffs of Moher.
Super suggested! 👍🏻
Location is quite near all of Clare's Tourist attraction. Cliffs of Moher 2km , Lahinch 5km for swimming or surfing, Doolin Ferry about 10 KM. So location and area is quiet and picturesque.
Nice host and accomadation.
amazing place… so beautifully redone and breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean. we should have stayed more days. only 5min form Cliffs of Moher Visitor center. Lovely owners we felt really comfortable staying there.
The location was great. The house was well designed, and the layout was unique. It was well equipped. Free parking, but the area was not clearly defined. Very nice view of the marina.Close the cliffs of Moher
Lovely modern apartment with all household amenities. Peaceful countryside location with view of the ocean and relatively close proximity to a hike on cliffs of Moher. Our host was personable and friendly.
Spacious 3 bed which accommodated 6 persons. Fully equipped with all u need. Like a home away from home. Fabulous sea views in the estate. Lovely quiet rural location near lahinch and the cliffs of moher.
Beautiful apartments, we stayed in apartment number 1, it was so spacious and luxurious, a hidden gem in North Clare, had everything we needed for a lovely night away
