Nice newly renovated room, spacious, with lots of natural light and a view of the mountains. Breakfast was good and staff very helpful. They do have private parking and a ski room. It's walking distance from the city center, main restaurants and stores. The main ski lifts are a 5 min drive away. It's a great cosy three star hotel.

Great base for exploring the Dolomites.
Great base for exploring the Dolomites. Lovely setting with mountains on all sides of the lake which was also very picturesque to stroll around or you could take a pedalo or a rowing boat. Recommended eateries: Quinz and Pizzeria Eidelweiss. Great if you wnat to join the queue for the car park for Tre Cime bright and early to ensure you get in.

A lot of people stay in Cortina D'Ampezzo because there are...
A lot of people stay in Cortina D'Ampezzo because there are lot of lodging, activity and food options. Staying at Misurina, however, is magical and peaceful. There are just enough options for lodging and food. It's also very close to Tre Cime and Lago di Braies. If you want a quieter and more peaceful stay, I would go with Misurina.

An ideal base for hiking Tre Cime Di Lavaredor.
An ideal base for hiking Tre Cime Di Lavaredor. Driving to Rifugio Auronzo, the starting point of the hike takes only 15 to 20 minutes. If you don't have a car, there are buses travelling regularly from Misurina to Rifugio Auronzoto. Besides, Lake Misurina itself is beautiful in its own right.AAnonymous

The hosts were very helpful, we have an electric car and they provided a power plug so we could plug over night the car, also, even though we did not reserved a dinner table on time, they really tried to provide us a table. The room was amazing and the bed was very comfortable, for sure we will come back again.

Private parking is a big benefit - it's hard to find a parking spot in Misurina. It's in a walking distance from the busses to Tre Cime, so there's no need to wake up crazy early to be able to get to the trail around Tre Cime. The stuff was very nice. The apartment we had was spacious, with 2 separate bedrooms (kids had their own bunk bed - it was an attraction itself) and a leaving room. The bed was very comfortable.

Misurina Lake is like a base area where you can travel and see so many beauties in a short driving distance, and Ida was there to explain it all! But the restaurant was a disaster. I ordered stewed deer with polenta and mushrooms. And the deer was mostly old junk like tendons and cartilage. No, it wasn't good. I would have preferred a pizza for half the price. Breakfast in the same style with ice-cold scrambled eggs and bacon.

Everything was comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful as they would check on how we were doing and offered to help carry my large suitcase upstairs as there was no elevator.
