It's a good base for the area.
It's a good base for the area. The castle with the brewery, museum and Battle of the Bulge museum were interesting (1/2 a day max). Its worth climbing the tower for the view. There's a enough bars & restaurants to offer variety for a few days. We're not hikers, so no idea on that.

A pleasant little town - good for a relaxing weekend but don't expect too much in way of shops - castle and museum is nice as it the Parc de Wiltz. The restaurant at the hotel is great and we were able to sit in the garden, good food and wine choices.. great service.

I recommend dinner in the hotel restaurant, both for the wine-cellar ambiance and because the food is good. The wine selection is small but excellent. My bathroom was en suite and included a spa tub. My room had the good feel of a bedroom in a house, and not an antiseptic hotel room. Overall I got the feel that I might have been staying in a classic travelers' inn of two centuries ago - but with good food, hot water, and a comfortable bed.DeanUnited States

We stayed just the one night, passing through Wiltz but would have stayed a couple of nights in the village had time allowed. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice and lovely, good quality coffee. The room was very nice with enough space and warm and cosy and the bathrooms are very smart. Wiltz is a lovely little town for a stopover.

We had a great (pre- Christmas) dinner. The food was excellent and the waiter very friendly. The hotel had been renovated recently and everything looked new. The room was very comfortable. In a quiet location by a river, free parking was available right outside the hotel. My room was large, the bed very comfortable and I had the best night's sleep in a long time. A fantastic service is to make the indoor swimming pool exclusively available for 40 minutes, and you can rent towels and bathrobes. Dinner was fabulous, and breakfast was good. I would happily stay here again.

There was more than enough space for our family The restaurant downstairs was amazing! There is a grocery store across the street, and the tourist information center is right behind the hotel.
