Beni Mellal is cute enough. The town seems chill and gives the right kind of Moroccan vibes. Since we went during Ramadan, eating wasn't much of a highlight: in the daylight hours we were forced to accept McDonald's drive-thru before heading out on a day trip, but that night we had pizza at Davinci Restaurant, which was surprisingly quite good (particularly if you're familiar with pizza in Morocco) and overall well managed.
The region is even more spectacular: drive over the mountain range to Bin El Ouidane (1 hour) and continue to Ouzoud Falls (1 hour more) via Azilal (about midway in between). Gorgeous terrain!
Our room was clean, the beds comfortable the bed linen snowy white. Our bathroom was clean. Breakfast was delicious and it included Berber breads, fresh orange juice, croissants and eggs and good coffee. One morning we had some porridge
which was also good.
We loved the view from the rooftop. Our room was on the 5th floor and had a balcony. There was a fridge in our room which was useful for cooling water.
We liked the location of the hotel, just 15 minutes walk from the centre of town. And near the bus station.
We just used this hotel as a stopover but it was very new, clean and comfortable. We did not know the town or area.
The facilities were all good and new, so no complaints at all. Breakfast was nice and served in the adjoining cafe.
There were no evening meals available on the premises so we had to find a place to eat locally - which is a shame as we would have eaten in the cafe if food was available.
We stayed just for night and the room with the balcony with garden view was nice and clean. Super moment was to have a breakfast in hotel restaurant near the fireplace because in winter time heating is a bit tricky thing in Morocco. If would be a summer we would have an oportunity to swim in a pool located in nice garden. Nothing doing.
The price value of the hotel is very fair and you get what you pay for. The room was clean enough, but the housekeeping team is little attentive to proper cleanliness. The bathrooms for example show signs that a proper cleaning is never done, which is typical in the country.
The host Mehdi welcomed me with tea and a smile. Despite our language barrier, we were able to communicate effectively. Mehdi offered suggestions on where to eat and answered all of my questions. Thanks for making my stay in Beni-Mellal a pleasant one.
Hotel has underground parking for motorbikes, which is excellent.
Owner then helped us arrange getting a broken motorbike back to the port, to get it (and the owner, home). Above and beyond the call, thank you.
Got spacious and nice room on the road side.. Guest friendly, clean and location exceptional.
Staff very helpful and friendly.
Hotel room very clean!
Very nice service!
Generally good price quality ratio.
The staff are absolutely amazing. The location is the best one could get in Beni Mellal. The breakfast is fine. And the overall price is decent. I recommend this place to other travelers.
