I felt like at home, very kind and gentle people. The room was big and clean with a view on the pool. Pointe-aux-piments is very cool: not turistic at all, a little happy corner. It is perfect as a base for a tours in the north

Seapoint was fantastic. The facilities were wonderful, the food great, the location perfect (if you have a car). But the best thing of all was the staff. Sanjiv and his team were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. We would not have changed anything.

The beaches were probably the best and the coziest at the North of Mauritius, but the village itself is too dull.. no supermarkets or even shops, no cafes or street food, no places to buy food etc. You could literally be left hungry. No attractions either. It's several kilometres away from Mon Choisy or Grand Baie, and those are much much better in terms of everyday life with amazing beaches as well.

Not a lot going on in Pointe aux Piments.
Not a lot going on in Pointe aux Piments. If you are going there I'd recommend going to one of the big hotels. That said, I didn't think the beach in that area was that nice and most of the big hotels seemed to be under construction. The public beach front was quite littered.

The beach is good for snorkelling, but with reservations.
The beach is good for snorkelling, but with reservations. There are places where it is sandy and you and your children can get in and swim. But in the plcae we went (off Victoria Beachcomber, you need to have something on your feet and use a mask or goggles....there are sharp corals and rocks very close to the shore. There are lots of fish to see close to the beach (just off Victoria 2 and the little public beach next to it. There is some live, but also lots of dead coral, and sometimes the water is a bit hazy, but lots of fish too.
You can get a bus to Pt Louis from the village - the bus goes round the opposite way to what you think - ask the locals. It takes c. an hour and costs 32 MR single.

The hotel is beside the sea. It is quite new.
The hotel is beside the sea. It is quite new. There is guest parking. The rooms are spacious. It is difficult to keep out the sand, but each apartment is cleaned daily. The staff are very welcoming, courteous and helpful. There are local shops, and small towns nearby offer alternative sources of food and drink.
You do need a car to get around Mauritius, and this hotel is a fair way from the airport.
This hotel is not on a beach, but there is a shuttle to a beach not far away.

This is a more authentic Mauritian style hotel , exactly what we were looking for
rather than other hotels catering for all
nationalities along with European type food . All staff we found to be very good
but particular acclaim should go to Kunal ,
small chap who worked behind the bar and waiting tables ( really sorry didn’t catch your name but you will know who you are along with two chefs . Again don’t
know their names but one lady( chilli sauce , buy it was hot ) and one man .
Hotel staff was amazing from the moment we stepped in and until the moment we left .everyone was very welcoming and nice . the room is huge and has everything you need with great sea view.
the restaurants at the hotel are good and the breakfast is very good
the rooms are after renewal and the hotel looks and feels like a new hotel.
we had a great time and paid a very reasonable price for the stay. highly recommended !!!
Long stretch of hotel beach with enough beach chairs, spacious room in front of the ocean, good food with a few restaurants choices and excellent evening entertainment programmes arranged by Steeve and the entertainment team which go above and beyond to ensure a great evening for everyone. All staff everywhere is very nice and kind and dealt with all our requests and enquiries promptly. Will return!
Fabulous location with a long stretch of white sandy beaches. Stunning sunset every evening! The hotel has many excellent restaurants, we have tried them all and loved everything. The staff at le Meridien was excellent. Buggy service around the resort was very appreciated as my aging mother had difficulty walking. Highly recommend this resort.
The Hotel is a lovely place and the view from the balcony of the room was just amazing. The food is really good and the staff like the waiters always friendly and try to do their best in making it an awesome stay for you, even if you have special wishes.
We can walk down the beach and have fun with all the water sports such as snorkeling, kayaking, swimming and sunbathing etc. All the activies were all inclusive with the room. That was even better than Hawaii. We would come and stay again.
What an exceptional hotel. Staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful; Food was amazing at every meal - we tried every restaurant and were never disappointed! Facilities were all you could ask for with so many options included.
lovely stay, very nice spacious kitchen , dining and living room. great hosts , easily contactable.
excellent location - beach is just a short walk away and convenience store just across the road
The location is great. It's a short walk from the beach. It's safe enough to jog as well. There's a pool and a bar area at the hotel. The Wi-Fi is strong throughout the property.
great location and nice small hotel feel to it. lovely pool and sea view. relaxed hotel with excellent staff who were friendly and helpful. bed was comfy with fresh linen.
I liked the room and very comfortable bed.
I liked the breakfast and dinner buffet. Also very nice bar location facing to the beach and ocean, enjoy the sunset.
