Everything is in walking distance - a great market for groceries, lots of restaurants, and several boat charter companies. We didn't rent a car, and I'm so glad we didn't, taxis are great for venturing out.
Walk to the Point by Simpson Bay Resort ( practically next door) and enjoy the sunset and a cocktail - its so beautiful.
The bonfire at Buccaneer Bar ( also next door) on weekends is so much fun- and they have good food and drinks at reasonable prices.

Is a lovely bay with a long white sandy beach, the water is turquoise, but due to the sand being very thin the water is quite milky, resulting in poor visibility under water, still super enjoyable if you want to relax and read by the sea.

We had booked an ocean-view room and were given one... but it was on the lowest level and we mostly saw lawn and trees rather than ocean. Thankfully they moved us to a higher floor and that made a huge difference in our stay. The hotel location is great with free parking. It has everything you need at a resort - good restaurants, a spa, activities onsite and more. We had a rental car that was perfect to sightsee for three days around the island. There is no lack of restaurants, bars, supermarkets and spas anywhere on this island! Note that on Sundays a lot of stores are closed if you stay over a weekend.

Best area to stay when visiting SXM, honesty the night life, food , people its just the perfect location to be in! Day or night Simpson Bay is really just amazing. Close to Beach areas as well , safe to walk to and from any hotel.
I liked that i was upgraded via booking.com! It was a beautiful and cozy room, and i especially liked that the location was in the heart of Simpson Bay and where most of food and night life was happening. Melony from PBX was my Check-in Agent, she was very kind and sweet, i think she'd make a wonderful FD agent, i believe she was cross training for the role. Overall the property was really beautiful.
Great location, a good supermarket is below the hotel. A lot of restaurants/fast food restaurants in walking distance. The airport is a 5 minute drive. The city center Philipsburgh is a 10 minute drive. There are nightclubs and lil bars in the area. It is a safe area. There are 2 jacuzzi's on the propety and a swimingpool. The room is very spacious and you can cook if you want.
The quality of the apartment is exceptional with Porcelanosa fittings in both the bathroom and kitchen for example. The price is very reasonable considering other options at the same price point. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and the location is excellent as well! We loved the rooftop pool with the view over Simpson Bay
location is perfect. close to bars and restaurants. very close of the beach. just 10 min from the airport which is great if you have a very early morning flight.
the staff is great. very kind, friendly and very helpful.
it s the perfect hotel for 2/3 nights. affordable, clean, good location.
wifi was very strong. air cond efficient.
no fault at all!
I had an extremely good time at Simpson Bay resort the people was friendly the staff was great. We had a wonderful stay in a junior suite which was still very pleasant and the view from our room was excellent we saw everything from our room view. I will definitely be planning another trip to Simpson Bay
The property is mostly clean (expect some bugs, fully normal for the Caribbean), the staff in the Hotel is nice. The location is amazing, the beach is clean and even though the Hotel is right next to the runway of the Airport, it doesnt bother at all. It was my second stay and not the last.
Very nice beachfront boutique hotel with a definite Carribbean look and feel, with beautiful views of the beach that's steps from the hotel. Can walk into town where you'll find restaurants and bars. Highly recommend staying here. This will be our St Martin stay for future trips.
Great place to see the sundown and the aeroplanes land and take off at Saint Martin from the deck. Nice location for lively Simpson Bay.
The host is really helpfull and easy to contact. Everything we asked for, could be arranged.
A big resort hotel with buildings spread out over a relatively big area. Pool areas, access to sea and a number of restaurants and bars. We had a very spacious room/suit. Well-equipped and very clean.
they have a shuttle to get around. the resort covers a large area so the shuttle helps. the check in was great. room not ready so they gave us a towel card so we could go to the beach.
the location to Simpson Bay was fantastic! the staff was very friendly and even let us store our luggage after checkout before we headed to French side. We will definitely return.
The breakfast was delicious. The room was well decorated to provide that comfy homy feel. The fact that the beach was literally steps away from the resort was absolutely amazing.
