Wow - this place is amazing. Beautiful cabins in a wonderful peaceful and secluded setting. Wonderful views! Comfortable beds and everything you need for a short or long stay! If we come back to the area, we will definitely stay again! Even delicious cinnamon twists on the first morning!

I didn't like that there was not a guest elevator. We did not like that there was not a TV. We were disappointed in the breakfast and the total lack of attention we were given at breakfast. The location of the inn is EXCELLENT!, just a few miles north of Rutland where we attended the Dionne Warwick concert. We felt like we were staying in a guest room in a stately old home. Our room was spotlessly clean, the beds were confortable, and the inn was quiet. Both of us slept better than we usually do. I was traveling after foot surgery and needed some extra items to make my stay easier. When we arrived there were extra pillows so I could elevate my foot and an ice chest full of ice in our room! We arrived very late at night and there was Sid, the owner, waiting to welcome us. We highly recommend staying at The Brandon Inn!

It is going through a change, but we really liked the quirkiness of our room. Staff was very nice, though spare-not many of them. We paid so little for our room, it's hard to complain. We found the restaurant Provence down the street to be really good, and highly recommend.

Personally, I liled the actual physical key in lieu of the common key card. The room was spacious and original. Keep in mind that pretty much everything is closed on Mondays in Brandon.
