We were very pleased. Peter always had something for us in the morning. He was a very good host and very friendly. It was a great stay. Enjoyed talking with him as he would always ask how we were doing.

Wow - this place is amazing. Beautiful cabins in a wonderful peaceful and secluded setting. Wonderful views! Comfortable beds and everything you need for a short or long stay! If we come back to the area, we will definitely stay again! Even delicious cinnamon twists on the first morning!
I didn't like that there was not a guest elevator.
I didn't like that there was not a guest elevator. We did not like
that there was not a TV. We were disappointed in the breakfast and
the total lack of attention we were given at breakfast. We were expecting to have personal service and not just a Super 8 breakfast that we could have had at one-half the price.
We had very nice made to order breakfast sandwiches at the Neshobe Cafe. The location of the inn is EXCELLENT!, just a few miles north of Rutland where we attended the Dionne Warwick concert. We felt like we were staying in a guest room in a stately old home. Our room was spotlessly clean, the beds were confortable, and the inn was quiet.
Both of us slept better than we usually do. We liked the large well heated bathroom and the walk in closet.
The location was central to everything and the staff couldn’t have been any nicer. I was traveling after foot surgery and needed some extra items to make my stay easier. When we arrived there were extra pillows so I could elevate my foot and an ice chest full of ice in our room! We arrived very late at night and there was Sid, the owner, waiting to welcome us. We highly recommend staying at The Brandon Inn!
The Brandon is quite an amazing old property. I hope they don't update it too much. It is going through a change, but we really liked the quirkiness of our room.
Staff was very nice, though spare-not many of them.
We paid so little for our room, it's hard to complain.
We found the restaurant Provence down the street to be really good, and highly recommend.
I love old hotels and like supporting historic hotels. The rooms were nice, beds comfortable and was in a great little town with lots to see. The have kept all of the ambience of an old hotel. They are pet friendly at this time, but I think that they may be rethinking this. Best to ask first
Beautiful, historic building with a lot of charme and character. A nice pool in the back, free parking.
Personally, I liled the actual physical key in lieu of the common key card.
The room was spacious and original.
Keep in mind that pretty much everything is closed on Mondays in Brandon.
The Brandon Inn is a delightful historic place - in a beautiful. Small town - we mostly took the stairs but taking the elevator that has to be operated by staff was a fun experience- the room was super big and very comfortable - the town is lovely .Also the breakfast was great!
We didn't know a whole lot about the hotel before we went, but quickly discovered its historical roots. It was a good resting place, that had a great location in a small and beautiful town. We particularly enjoyed the staff. They were kind, friendly and helpful in every way.
This hotel takes you right back to the 19th century. What an historic place full of charm. Do not expect too much luxury or present day comfort but appreciate the loads if charm this old pkace has. And Brandin itself is a charming little old town too.
Located in the town center, the location was perfect. But what I really liked was that the owner was there and available to speak to. Would stay there again if ever in the area.
