The cleanliness and breakfast were not up to the normal standards that I have encountered at the numerous LaQuinta's where I have stayed over the past years. Will not be returning to this facility.

Decatur is from what I can tell a nice town.
Decatur is from what I can tell a nice town. Doesn't give you the feel of a "one- horse- town" or the feel of a metropolitan area. The old downtown is super clean and nice. The area feels safe for family. Roosters bar and grill in the square is good eats, can't remember the name of the coffee house/ bar next door but it's also really nice!

I stayed one (1) night at Motel 6 in Decatur while there on business. The hotel is convenient to the highway and you have quick access to many restaurants. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Be mindful this is "basic needs" only. Positives: Shower was great. Bed decent. Negatives: Noise. Close to railroad and highway means lots of traffic and noise. Sleep quality was effected.
This Fairfield is relatively new, immediately adjacent to the Decatur conference center, and is great. Well maintained, everything works, every thing shines, the staff is genuine, welcoming and accommodating. First floor room was quieter than you’d expect. I slept through breakfast, bet it was good. Right on 380, easy access to/from Eagles Canyon. First class, I’d stay here anytime.
My husband and I come to Decatur every other month and we always stay at Lone Star Inn. The staff are great. It’s always very clean. I enjoy my Texas shaped waffle for breakfast each time. We’ve asked for extra towels and such when booking and it’s always in the room waiting for us when we get there. 10 out of 10!
We were accommodated at late hours after traveling with littles. The hotel is amazing and clean. The sign lights were out but I was able to call for directions even at 2 am! You can’t beat the price, facilities or welcoming customer service. If I could rate it more than 5 stars I would!
The room was sparkling clean, as were the public areas. The beds were very comfortable, as well.
The hotel was in walking distance of a restaurant we like, which was a plus.
The breakfast was good, with both hot and cold choices.
The Cafe had very good food with generous servings at a low price. In room coffee was the good kind, not the usual awful hotel cheap stuff. The chairs and fire pit in front of the bunkhouse was a nice touch.
Dated....but clean. Very basic. Everything one would need for a quick stay in Amarillo, which is definitely not known for nice, affordable hotels. I will pick this hotel again.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was very comfortable and housekeeping came each day ( an added bonus compared to other hotels), location is great.
I liked that it was not just another hotel…a different setting, decor, experience. Lots of outdoor area to walk around and for the dog too. Reasonable price.
