The cleanliness and breakfast were not up to the normal standards that I have encountered at the numerous LaQuinta's where I have stayed over the past years. Will not be returning to this facility.

Decatur is from what I can tell a nice town.
Decatur is from what I can tell a nice town. Doesn't give you the feel of a "one- horse- town" or the feel of a metropolitan area. The old downtown is super clean and nice. The area feels safe for family. Roosters bar and grill in the square is good eats, can't remember the name of the coffee house/ bar next door but it's also really nice!

I stayed one (1) night at Motel 6 in Decatur while there on business. The hotel is convenient to the highway and you have quick access to many restaurants. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Be mindful this is "basic needs" only. Positives: Shower was great. Bed decent. Negatives: Noise. Close to railroad and highway means lots of traffic and noise.
