I liked the friendliness of nearly everybody we met.
I liked the friendliness of nearly everybody we met. I love the Texas drawl. We were catching up with family in Greenville. It would have been good if we had our own car to get around but unfortunately driving on the left hand side of the car was not an option for older New Zealanders so we found going from one side of the highway to another to go to different places became quite expensive with Uber. We had lots of laughs and chatter with the Uber drivers so have no complaints about them. We ate mostly at home but we went to Cracker Barrel. Great place, staff and the meal was very good. We also went to Glenda's another great meal with really friendly staff. A lovely smallish town to visit with plenty of great trees to see the squirrels.

"It's ok , Greenville, TX that is but you might want to find a better motel or hotel unless you're poor." You need a car but there's Uber now. I ate fast food from Caddo Cafe, Arby's. I also ate tv dinners, Winnie's, microwave pizza 🍕🍔 and hot pockets, fruit 🍓🍑, a little junk and soda juice, and lots water. Like I stated avoid a crappy motel. I don't have a favorite place but you can visit 'Mary Pudding Hill' and get good treats like 'Chocolate covered Strawberries' toboot!!!" "There's also Shananigans and the movies, Churches!!" "MS. Yolandria Heath."

All the hotels looked the same quality with people out wandering all night long and even in the daytime. Go to Royce City or Sulphur Springs to stay. The food establishments were poor quality and service also.

Wife and I drive a semi over the road and they had truck parking with a very reasonable room rate. Beds we’re comfortable and rested well. After leaving I realized I’d forgotten my wallet in one of the drawers. Called and the desk clerk went out of her way to find it and call me back. I was very thankful for her honesty and taking the time.

It was quiet and had the best bed! And pillows, too! It was clean however old and needs refurbishing.
Had both refrigerator and microwave which I needed!
It was the only hotel/motel that had tea bags out of all the other places I stayed this week.
What I didn’t like was they forgot to hand back my driver’s license after checking in. I was too tired and did not realize it until I was checking in the airport!
The front desk should have notified me and did not.
When I called them when I got home, they said they had it. I asked them to mail it putting it in a folded paper in envelope. I called them back to tell them my niece would pick it up to FedEx overnight. She put envelope as is...and their envelope was so thin, you could tell it was my license! They goofed all the way around!

Greenville is very nice area they're is shopping and restaurants nearby my visit was at Christmas time I wish they would have been more Christmas lights lots of traffic that's what I didn't like overall is a good area to stay
Nothing. The entire building smelled like weed and poor life choices. My husband and I were prepared for a "cheap hotel". We were not however prepared for something out of a movie. The room rate is typically indicative of the quality of stay, to a point, this place should be charging by the hour. Not on a level with a normal room.
I enjoyed it did not encounter anything bad. We checked in and parked by our room. We noticed the first thing in the room was the 4 fluffy pillows!! Thank you! i didnt have to go ask for extras usually I do at other hotels we stay at. The room was spotless must say and had a good night sleep. And took off early morning.
No breakfast. There was cockroach in the room, The beddings were not clean and the room was smelly. The only staff was overwhelmed with 40 guests which made it impossible for him to perform. He was nice to me but the whole hotel business needs reorganizing for effectiveness
I like how close it was to the local Walmart and grocery store. At the time of visit Brookshires had the lowest gas price in town. The hotel was very well kept with a friendly staff. I'd recommend to anyone that would ask me about the hotel and pets are allowed.
Overall this hotel was great. It was in a great location, easy to find, and reasonably priced. The rooms were comfortable, the bathroom was nice, and it was quiet at night. It was everything we needed for one night.
Worst hotel ever first the night clerk was so rude!! Then the room wasn't clean it has roaches the floor was dirty the bathroom wasn't cleaned the phone didn't work and the TV well it was the worst hotel ever!!
Love the pool. Breakfast is always fabulous. The staff is super friendly. The location is close to many conveniences. We always stay there when visiting family in Greenville and take side trips to Rockwall.
The property was excellent and newly renovated and pet friendly. Worked out great and Sue at the front desk was phenomenal! I’m coming back to stay just to visit her. She made our stay so pleasant!
They have an awesome bar that had a live band. The blues band was awesome the beer was good. Good people great time. Girls all over me. Best hotel ever
