Lakeview was fine.
Lakeview was fine. The Motel (Executive Inn and Suites) was a nightmare. first they could not find the reservation even tho we had confirmed. The manager was very argumentative, insisted we did not have reservations. I informed the manager I had personally called him before we left home and confirmed. he state he could not be expected to remember phone calls. After 1/2 hour, the manager finally found the reservation. The manager did not furnish maid service. The trash was overflowing, The beds were not made. the manager stated they did not do beds. No toilet paper, room not vacuumed. Manager complained I had called 4 times for maid service. This was not true. I had called once. I went to the office and 4 times and the manager or noone was available in the office during operating hours. The manager did not have contact service even tho the office door was open and no signs stating he was not available. The price was almost two hundred dollars a night. The room was way overpriced, especially with no maid service. and no breakfast. If I owned the motel, this manager would not be working for me. I would never recommend this motel to anyone due to the manager. He is not a people person. His communication skills is 0.

Lakeview is very convenient for access to SE Oregon, Nevada and NE Califfornia. It is an agricultural community and visitors should not have high expectations of local restaurants or lodging. We ate at the Eagle's Nest in downtown. They had no white wine (house or otherwise) and charged $9.00 for a glass of IPA beer ! Food was stodgy, although waffle fries were better.

One thing I forgot to mention in the original review was the very fun red fridge added in the room. There was a microwave, and a small hotel fridge, but the extra roomy fridge was a nice touch. There was also a small seating area outside of the room, with a couple of outside chairs.

My son lives in Lakeview Oregon. It is a very small town.
My son lives in Lakeview Oregon. It is a very small town. Everyone knows each other. It is very safe. The police patrolled the area quite often. There is not a lot of people. The views are beautiful. There are mountains everywhere and it is very pretty. The town seemed to be very aware and kept to Covid 19 rules of wearing mask. Most things were closed to indoors but they had drive up due to Covid 19. I would go back again. If you want peace and quiet Lakeview is your place to go.
We were in an updated room bed was comfortable air conditioner was quiet however there were bugs in the room not sure what they were found a red ant in the bed and a big spider on the floor killed it too it was the only hotel available to stay so we had no choice if they spent more time cleaning up spraying around the building it could become a nice motel. The guest cooking the tacos in front of their rooms was amazing they were working on fires they had been there 2 months and they were pretty quiet
Hot spring pool was excellent! We arrived after the dark and at first we were off put by the lack of lights at the pool area, but then we got into wonderfully warm water and looked up at the stars, it was magical.
Outside hotel looks a bit shabby, but inside rooms are excellent, with great new renovations, awesome appliances and simple modern interior.
Beds were very firm, which I liked.
Although not upscale, this is definitely the most comfortable and updated hotel in Lakeview. (We walked around and checked out the other places)
The bed was comfortable and there is an indoor pool and jacuzzi (we saw but didn’t use), and the ice machine worked well and the staff
was responsive.
This was our second stay here. It had been updated since we were here last time (during COVID). The room was pleasant with a comfortable bed. We appreciated having a tub. The staff were very helpful, including a good tip for dinner. The rate was excellent compared to other motels in the area.
We arrived at the hotel and I thought we had the wrong address. It looked like a tear down and closed. I double checked, but we were in the right place. A complete dive! A complete disappointment!!! There was some positive rating on the website about breakfast, there was no breakfast at all!
The property manager is kind, caring and respectful. He is adding new rooms to the hotel and getting it up to shape. A few touches like new paint and fresh grass. He seems to want everyone to have a better stay. I hope he get that hotel to 3 maybe 4 stars
Service exceeded my expectations and hotel was recently renovated. The clerk at the check-in was friendly and attentive and went out of his way to ensure I had a comfortable stay, I would not hesitate to come back in the future.
The water pressure in the shower was fabulous. It had a smoke detector, and the bed was comfortable. Our original booking at a different hotel was canceled at the last minute. I was happy that we got a room at a decent price.
Within walking distance to food and stores.
It was clean, and quiet the hotel filled up by the end of the day and we never heard any of the other quests.
