Shuttle driver drove like a maniac because he was fighting with someone that got left downtown. He pulled into the parking lot like he was on 2 wheels. Very unsafe, and he clearly had anger issues.
I’m also not sure about this neighborhood’s safety as someone got stabbed across the street the first night we arrived. Check in was horrendous, with 3 people working check in things should have moved more swiftly, however we sat in line to check into our room for 35 minutes. There are a lot of things that could be put in a pamphlet or something to hand off to customers vs saying them all to speed things up. The best thing about our stay was the service in the restaurant…breakfast waiter was amazing, and housekeeping was very nice.
The Nashville Airport Baymont Inn and Suites is less than 10 minutes’ drive from the Nashville International Airport. Guests will enjoy an outdoor pool.

Great location. We were just 15 minutes away from broadway and downtown Nashville. Definitely a very convenient spot if you want to drive less and make it to your destination quicker. Bed was comfy and the water pressure in the bathroom shower was pretty great! That definitely stood out to me. Overall a great stay and definitely a big plus with the location!

The Checkered Cab Service was terrible. Tried to charge their own fees without turning on meter and could hardly lift our baggage into trunk and we ladies had to just about pack it ourselves. Uber was much better.

We can't wait to come back.
We can't wait to come back. Definitely for 21 and up, nightlife is unending. So many awesome bars, bands, and restaurants. Make sure to go to each level of the bars. Every level has its own bands. Rooftops were so much fun and great for pictures. Museums, shops, bike bar tours, so much more. Just be careful where you stay. We thought we were staying within walking distsnce. Ads were deceiving. Best to be nearest to Music row/ Broadway. Many parking garages and lots. We found the garages to be the best, cheaper than lots, safe and on Broadway.

It was easy to get into and out of the city.
It was easy to get into and out of the city. There’s lots to do downtown. Can easily park on arrival and not need a car until ready to leave. We felt safe walking around - even at 1 or 2 am. Police maintain a good yet unobtrusive presence. However, Nashville isn’t the most pedestrian friendly city. It’s a long wait for the walk light and on multiple occasions pedestrians had the walk light but traffic also appeared to have the green light (?) They do close several blocks to traffic on and around Broadway on weekend nights, which is very nice. Dining options are numerous and range from very casual to extravagant. Broadway and surrounding area is just a fun place to be with live music everywhere. If you like to smoke a cigar and have a drink in pleasant surroundings, check out Aristo - it was one of our favorite places. Check out Martin’s BBQ and the huge food court on 5th for good eats. The burlesque show at Skulls Rainbow Room was a blast - very talented dancers, singers and band.

Nashville is a great city with so much to do!
Nashville is a great city with so much to do! We went to two museums, sightseeing, shopping, great food, great live music, so many friendly people and great weather and so many great bars!
Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash are both great museums. So much personal artifacts and information. Bars are great. I loved Friends in low places, Hank Williams Jr, Kid Rock, Ole Red, Tootsies, Twelve Thirty, Miranda Lambert (very cute place!)and Luke Bryant’s to name a few! All great music!

There’s something for everyone in Nashville.
There’s something for everyone in Nashville. The live music is everywhere and there’s no need to go to the congested, touristy Broadway to see it. And if you aren’t a big country music fan (we aren’t), there’s an awesome zoo, a wax museum, a fantastic assortment of restaurants for every palate, great coffee shops and the Musician’s Hall of Fame is a must for music lovers. Oh, and if you’re a hockey fan, go see the Pekka Rinne statue by Bridgestone.
Tip: if you’re driving to downtown, the library parking garage has the best rates and it’s walkable to Broadway.
Some of our favorite places to eat were Nectar Urban Cantina, M. L. Rose, Big Bad Breakfast, Loveless Cafe (just do it, you don’t want to pass on this place), Hugh Baby’s for regular and veggie smash burgers and Nashville Coffees has the best lattes (try the Music City latte with hazelnut, cinnamon and honey!). A little hidden treat we discovered in our way out was Fox Donuts - tiny place with delicious donuts.
The Ole Smokey moonshine distillery was also a lot of fun.
Be mindful of your surroundings - not all of the city is safe. Like anywhere else.
And if you don’t mind driving, be sure to hit up a Buc-ees, Dollywood, or the beautiful park areas throughout TN, VA or KY.
This is just a great city to experience, everyone should come here at least once.
The place was clean and comfy. Its also alot cheaper than staying downtown. Stay here, get an uber to and from Broadway for a few evenings and save yourself hundreds of dollars.
Its no frills and theres not anything else to do here but we knew that and it does what it says on the tin at the right price.
The staff were nice and helpfull when ever we needed them, all good.
We did walk five mins to Jacks BBQ in Trinity Lane, apperently the original one. Gotta say, its the best brisket and smoked turkey ive ever had :)
The hotel had an amazing location where it was perfectly situated right near downtown, the honky tonk highway and everything was walking distance in Nashville. We were in town for July 4th celebrations and we were able to stand at the top of Broadway and watch the concert and fireworks!! A great experience. Also, it had an amazing rooftop pool and bar. The staff were always very friendly and helpful with any questions that we may have had. We will recommend the Holston House to anyone.
Staff was really helpful. Property was clean as well.
We got lucky to find this place. We drove 10 hours to another hotel that we booked a few weeks prior. Once we got here to Nashville, the hotel we booked through booking.com did not have our reservations and would not work with us. So we had to scramble to find somewhere to stay. We found this great hotel. We are happy the other place didn’t work out. We will be staying at another Fairfield Inn, in Chattanooga. Nice hotels.
Hot breakfast and variety was outstanding. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Updates are very nice. Shuttle to downtown is a major plus, $10 per person round trip, cannot be beat! This is our second stay and I will continue to stay for our quick trips to Nashville. Location is just off the interstate and many restaurants, Walgreen, gas stations all very near by, like across the street. We love Nashville and this hotel.
The hotel is in an excellent location to everything! Nashville is a whole vibe with lots of things to do. There were many shops and restaurants in walking distance. The room was a nice size, I really like the large walk-in shower and the water stayed hot. The bed was very comfortable. It was quiet and I slept well. The room has a refrigerator, stove, sink and microwave. They also provide utensils and dishes.
The Location, breakfast, and staff were all great. We were in town for the Drake concert an this location was a perfect distance from the downtown area, walking driving, My wife and I spent time walking and utilizing ride share from downtown to this hotel and never got stuck in traffic or walked for very long. I would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Nashville.
Loved the tropical vibes this hotel has! It’s bright, clean and inviting! Our room was GORGEOUSLY decorated, had all the amenities we needed and the best view of downtown Nashville! We could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Staff was super friendly, especially at the pool bar Fins and the restaurant. Loved having a Starbucks in the hotel. Would 100% stay there again!
The room is very nice. Bed is really comfortable.
The hotel is also lovely with very accommodating staff, who are really motivated to look after you. The location is midtown Nashville - which is about 25-30 mins walk to downtown. It was perfect for us as we like to walk. Valet parking on site at $40/day. There are some restaurants close by.
This hotel was beautiful and the breakfast is amazing! ALL of the staff was so nice and the location is perfect to go to Nissan Stadium or Downtown Nashville! We walked over the pedestrian bridge mainly, but also rode the lime scooters that are every where! They even stored our bags as check out was before our flight to leave!
This hotel is located in a nice safe area near Opryland/Opry Mills. Room was clean. Loved that there was a shuttle service that picks you up and brings you back from downtown! Continental breakfast was simple but good. Renee was absolutely wonderful! Very kind, welcoming and helpful. Would stay here again!
very good suite and easy to get into Nashville (12 minute drive- park in the public library on 6th Avenue. The hotel was near to a large Walmart and about 15 minutes from the Grand Ole Opry. Petrol station across the way was a good price for filling up for the airport(about 15 minutes away)
Staff were great helpful, friendly the best I’ve had and I stay in many hotels , brilliant location near to everything, kick back 5.30 is great. Evening bar is a lovely drinks and food always good and entertainment every night.Breakfast always good. would highly recommend to anyone.
The whole hotel and room was stylish. Beautifully decorated. Full kitchen complete with plates, cutlery even salt and pepper. Very comfortable bed. Only 35 minute walk to the centre of Nashville. An affordable alternative to the much more expensive hotels downtown.
.A new facility with a very good location close to the center of Nashville. Very clean. The staff was very willing to assist
cheap parking around
The fitness center is modern and welcoming
Rooms wide and clean. Staff always helpful. Bar inside the hotel. Nearby area full of restaurants and bars with live music. Not too much distant from Downtown (we went and came back by foot
relatively decent location for food …nothing other then that other than nearby gas station. felt safe compared to hotel next door. great for the cheapness of it though …good staff
