The Inn is very nice in a remote and very quiet place, next to a lake. Our room #1 was nice, bed very comfortable, lot of space and a bathroom with bubble bath. Our breakfast facing the lake, warmed by the sun.

If you are expecting fast food and restaurant locations you will be disappointed. Primarily local restaurants and expect to spend on average $40-80 a meal with a cocktail. As far as outdoor adventures the location is a great spot for hiking trails, mountain climbing, and Spring/Fall imagery. It is absolutely a hidden gem when it comes to the outdoors. Highly recommended if you enjoy hiking and the outdoors.

When we booked the reservation said "Free private parking is available on site (reservation is not needed)." There were no spots upon arrival so we parked in the street with the other cars and were towed. The hotel has done NOTHING to compensate us. Due to this we had to pay $250 to get our car and it ruined our whole vacation b/c we had spend 2 hrs dealing with getting our car. I would expect the manager to offer to compensate us by a)only charging us half the nights fee OR b) offering us a free night to come back OR c)paying the impound fee. I have left a msg and have had NO RESPONSE...

Lovely community with extra friendly folks.

Lovely community with extra friendly folks. Loved that most of the food served in the restaurants came from local farms and loved that they were proud to advertise that fact. That is the home town feel you want when you are traveling to a beautiful New England town in the fall.
