This is THE best place to stay in Montañita! Everything was perfect- the location, the furnishings, the hammocks, a perfect hot shower, and it had all the amenities and beyond. The host was also wonderful, great communication. Highly recommend the surfside cabanas!

It was hard to see from the photos that the BBQ area, etc. are in the back garden - we thought this was a communal area, so nice to find it was our own private space. and the additional showers and bathroom outside were great.

Ellen and her family are the kindest hosts you could ask for! They were very communicative and helped us get to the accommodation, as well as helping us once we were there. Accommodation was clean and it feels like a very safe place. For anyone traveling from oversees - Ellen asks for a 50% deposit which you need to transfer via a payment service. This is normal for Ecuador and you can trust her :-). Olon and the beach is amazing, great surfing any many cute cafes. Would recommend!
