We had a great stay at RR Cottage. The staff was really nice and provided awesome breakfast on our porch every day. The simple room was clean. There was no mosquito net, but we didn't have any problems with mosquitos so that didn't bother us. The pool area is nice too. We also booked a snorkeling trip through them and they organized a laundry service and taxi for us to get back to the harbour. The location is convenient too, 15 min from the harbour and right across the street is a really good Warung. We also rented a scooter through them for a good price. Would definitely come back! As a plus: two very cute dogs live there.

It’s worth staying here just to get to know the staff! Nusa Penida is a difficult island to get around, but they have very helpful drivers at the cottage who can take you anywhere for a reasonable price - or they can rent you a motorbike if you’re comfortable with that. I accidentally left a pair of shoes at one of the beaches, and they helped call around to find them and eventually brought me over there to get them back - they go so above and beyond!

Wayan and his wife were the kindest hosts I have ever met!! We enjoyed eating delicious home made meals in their warung across the road. Free breakfast was amazing, unlimited coffee and huge pancakes. The room was spotless and very comfortable bed. Working AC and storage space for our bags. Extremely peaceful patio outside our room to listen to nature. Would recommend without a doubt.
