Even if we never met, she was always available on WhatsApp for any questions or requests. The apartment is spacious and private and very well-equipped, including a kitchen (pots, pans, cutlery, etc.) and a washing machine.

A perfect little apartment very close to all the sights. Comfy bed, nice big shower and a well stocked kitchen. The host also provided a travel cot and high chair - the high chair was brilliant with a huge tray (the other place we stayed in provided a high chair only so lots of cleaning food from the floor!) We stayed two nights at late notice after we had damp and sewage issues with our accommodation in Fontane Bianche. The host went out of his way to help me book 2 nights as the usual policy I understand is a minimum of 3 nights. The host and his wife were so kind to us, letting us check in early and leaving small gifts in the property, including a teddy for our 9 month old baby. Those little details made it feel very special. We were able to park on the road outside the apartment.

What a nice place! The familiyowned Masseria is some 20 minutew away from Syracuse, in s cosy old house and garden with nice pool. The rooms are located in the former workers houses, they are very well equipped and clean. It‘s an ideal place to start trips to the surrounding area. The breakfast was outstanding, mostly self-made sweet and salty bakery. Very polite and helpful staff. We‘d love to come back!

The rooms are very charming (yet comfortable), setting the scene for an authentic stay in Ortigia. We spend one week here with the whole family and had the most wonderful time. In addition our hosts Marta and Maria were extremely helpful. Despite its location, which is close to some beloved tourist hotspots, the apartment is very quiet. Bring pen and paper because you could write a book in this setting! We will be back!

Room was cozy, clean and had a charming view of the plaza, Paola, the host, was gracious, very helpful and easy to communicate with. She helped us with dinner reservation and recommended a beautiful, fun boat trip. There were excellent coffee shops on the ground floor and across the alley for breakfast. Secure parking was available only 100 yards away. We highly recommend this fun and romantic place.
