We hired a taxi to see some shrines and Budda. Kamakura/Haas was a welcome change from the crowded conditions of Tokyo. Wish we could have stayed longer. Although the cottage sent immediate confirmation after I said arrival around 11am, they were not ready for us. Owner provided us with a warm place to sit and dry out while he got the room ready. The younger man in the gift shop was very pleasant and helpful.
