It is very well equipped and the rooms are big enough for the people staying there. Did not use the TV, but i would assume that it is very good too. Parking was very close which is very convenient.

Situated 36 km from Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club, 47 km from Traquair House and 49 km from Drumlanrig Castle, Character cottage in centre of Moffat offers accommodation located in Moffat. Beautiful cottage with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Lovely big kitchen and nice to have the option of a bath. Very clean and well appointed. Even the neighbours are friendly and welcoming!

Offering a garden and river view, The Fiddichside Inn is located in Aberlour, 30 km from Huntly Castle and 35 km from Grantown Museum. Beautiful setting, comfortable space with 2 bedrooms/baths and full kitchen & living. Could have stayed comfortably for several days. Owner very responsive. The attached bar was a fun place to meet the locals. Angus, the bartender, was very hospitable, & knowledgable about the flavor profiles of the wide variety of spirits available. We felt very welcome while the locals regaled us with stories of their families and the area’s history. Remember it’s a bar not a pub-they don’t serve food but they can recommend a couple of restaurants. The outdoor seating by the river was an added plus! Definitely worth a visit!
