Featuring a garden and views of garden, Rainbow Sky Cottage is a recently renovated homestay located in Ella, 6.5 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. Unfortunately my friend and I were not able to really enjoy the comforts of this place because we were so busy running around Ella. However, the homestay owners were the friendliest, the view was breathtaking, and I loved how quiet it was. The shower had hot water, the place was so clean (and so is the town!), and the beds with the mosquito net made me feel like a princess. Be mindful of animals.

Avenra Cottage, a property with a garden and a terrace, is set in Ella, 1.5 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge, 49 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden, as well as 1.5 km from Little Adam's Peak. It was just outside the Main Street in Ella, about a 10 minute walk but still has lots of restaurants near by. It was set back off the main road so we had some privacy. And right next to the path to 9 arches bridge

We were super surprised at how big the room was, especially since we paid so little! The balcony was also a lovely addition. Big big big bonus points for the king size bed - loved it. The staff were extremely kind and they offer a tuk tuk service to bring you to and from Ella city center. Also, right on top of the hotel (literally 2’ uphill walk) is the 3arch bridge - the least famous sibling to the 9 arch one. We were lucky enough to see trains passing there and it was wonderful! We can only recommend! Thanks again.

Fair View Cottage has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Ella, 4.9 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. Breakfast brilliant. The food was beautifully cooked and presented with different dishes each day. Our room was cleaned and our bed sheets changed after two nights so very clean and fresh.

Also, the owners are extremely nice, they helped us with a lot of advices.

Featuring a garden and a terrace, Tea Cabins is located in Ella, a 18-minute walk from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. Everthing was great! It was a Oasis of well-being in the middle of the nature. Everything is quiet and the view is a dream. The terrace with the pool and sunbeds was the absolute highlight. The staff takes care of everything and also carries your luggage up. There is also a main pool, which could also only be used by us. In the evening, they cooked just for us and we enjoyed the meal on our terrace. Breakfast was also very tasty and definitely sufficient. The Tea Cabin is beautifully furnished and clean with a view of nature. It was an unforgettable experience! Thank you for everything!

Free WiFi is available. perfect place to stay in Ella. great view. host is very attentive. everything was very clean and good condition. breakfast was very tasty. we only stayed one night, i would like to stay several days.

Situated within 4.6 km of Demodara Nine Arch Bridge and 48 km of Hakgala Botanical Garden in Ella, Sudumal Cottage offers accommodation with seating area and a kitchen. Almost everything about Sudumal was as I expected. A nice spacious room with window and and nice view from the sitting place just outside the door. The cottage is a secluded place with Jungle like ambience around it but very near to main road. I reached there from railway station in only a few hundred rupees. Only, the approach from the road to the property was harder than I expected because of its height from the main road. There is another hotel at the midway that is closed now. I was confused for a while thinking that Sudumal was closed but then I walked 10-15 steps and found Sudumal board and the new set of stairs going upward. I left my heavier suitcase at that midway closed hotel and climbed up to Sudumal. Then Nimali, the landlady, sent her son downstairs to bring that suitcase to me. Next day, upon my departure also, Nimali's son dropped that suitcase up to the road. And just at that very place I found the bus to Wellawaya. From Wellawaya, I took the bus heading to Colombo that dropped me at my hotel outside Udawalawa National Park. The property is run by Nimali and her family, who are nice, cooperative and friendly. Nimali prepared home made dinner and next morning breakfast for me that were delicious and reasonably charged. I would definitely recommend this property
