The apartment was lovely, the property beautiful. Large terrace. Little lake directly adjacent. Very quiet at night. Lots of privacy (if you want it). Nice bathroom with washing machine. Kitchen with everything you need. With google maps and the directions provided beforehand easy to find. We would have liked to stay longer!!!

A Place in the Paddock is situated in Matamata and offers a garden. Guests staying at this holiday home have access to a fully equipped kitchen and a terrace. A Place in the Paddock was lovely! The surroundings of the farm and nature was really serene and it was comfortable to relax ourselves as it was away from the crowd and noise (much more peaceful than the cities). We enjoyed the view very much and even got to see the farm animals from afar, such as the cows marching at dawn and the rabbit stealing some lettuce; how cute!! Even though the weather wasn’t perfect (it was wet and dreary), we still enjoyed having a stroll around the farm and snapping photos at every opportunity. The apartment was large and cozy, with fragrance (and a cow theme which is cute) in every room, even the toilet! We even got the chance to bring a book home from the collection, but it was a pity that none caught our interest :( (I did like the 100 Wonders of the World, though…)

Garden Cottage is located in Hastings and offers a garden, barbecue facilities and a terrace. My husband and I had to cancel our booking because of a road closure, shocking weather and an accident my husband had. Owner was wonderful, sympathetic, thoughtful and considerate of our decision.
