Such a unique and beautiful hotel. Absolutely loved the decor and art. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The complimentary cocktail in the lounge was a delicious treat! Definitely will be back!

Toronto’s historic Gladstone House is at the heart of the city’s art and design district. The building is over 132 years old and full of so much history it vibes out into the atmosphere. The restoration has paid attention to all the details. If you have an appreciation for art you will love this place, it is full of art pieces from some of Canada’s top modern day artists, we particularly loved our rooms art from Peter Owusu-Ansah. We spent time looking at the art throughout. They also have a good deal of photos and history of the building from the past. The staff were great, fun and very courteous. Our room had everything we needed. The house coats were a great touch. The bed and pillows extremely comfortable, no aches or pains when waking. The lighting in the room was great and made things vey sensual. Also the plant based soaps and shampoos were great, the aromas amazing. We had a self serve, easy, coffee bar on our floor, fourth floor, much enjoyed in the morning. Checkout not till 12, another great feature, no rush to leave. Well definitely be visiting this place again in the future. Has all amenities of a hotel but so much more character, like staying at a home.
