Excellent service from our arrival until our departure. We were met at the entrance of the hotel, and helped with our luggage, shown to our room which was delightful, and with a spectacular view. Set on Valparaiso’s Alegre Hill, a Unesco World Heritage Site, Casa Galos Hotel & Lofts has apartments with chic décor and views of Valparaiso’s picturesque hills. We were greeted and taken care of straight away by Max from the front desk. He assisted with our luggage and explained the facilities. After we settled in he made a lovely coffee for us and proceeded to explain the area with recommendations for restaurants etc. His colleague Juan Victor was also tremendously helpful with recommendations etc. They were both very kind and did everything to make our stay comfortable and homely. The decor was fresh and our room was well appointed. The building was quite modern inside and the decor had a coastal theme. Our room was air conditioned and the building had a lift. We really liked the area. Filtered water machine on bottom floor.

Set in a stately 1920’s big house, Hotel Casa Higueras features a swimming pool overlooking the bay, and a spa. There is a restaurant, and free WiFi is provided. Location was great. Restaurant is delicious too! Staff was excellent.
