Right opposite Two Rivers and Four Lakes, Guilin Rong Lake Aroma Tea House, formerly Jing Guan Ming Lou Museum Hotel, is located in the city centre. Small hotel run by a couple of friendly woman. They kept our big luggage for 4 nights while we went to the rice fields and then to Yangshuo. Easy to communicate as they speak English, which believe me, is not something you can take for granted in China, not even in touristy areas. For this reason alone, I think this is probably the best hotel to stay at if you don’t like the hassle.

The charming traditional Chinese gardens of Guilin Central Park are the central focus of Guilin Yi Characteristic Hotel CoLTD. One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed at and the staff were great!! The front desk was super friendly and helpful even with our limited Mandarin skills, they even helped us get rid of a large bug in our room late at night, haha. The ladies working at the hotel restaurant were also really nice and accommodating. The atmosphere here was very relaxing! If I ever take another trip to Guilin, I'd love to stay here again!

Sheraton Guilin Hotel sijaitsee Li-joen rannalla Guilinin keskustassa 45 minuutin päässä Guilin Liangjiangin kansainväliseltä lentoasemalta. Hotellissa on kuntokeskus ja ulkouima-allas. The location was superb, the hotel was immaculate and the staff were were friendly and efficient. We were assisted by Candy at the front desk and she was absolutely brilliant. Thank you.
