Hotel di Nord-Holland, Kassel

Fridericianum, documentaHalle and Ottoneum (Museum of Natural History), top venues of the documenta art exhibition, are all within 1 km of the Hotel Deutscher Hof, located in the heart of Kassel and... So far it was the best Hotel that we stayed at in Germany. The room was so clean and it was big. We love that we have a balcony in our room. And the Breakfast was so good that we really enjoyed it. If ever we'll be coming back to Kassel. We'll still be choosing this hotel.

Hotel Schillerquartier is only a few minutes' walk from the centre of Kassel, and is near many shops and museums. It offers a shared kitchen as well as free WiFi throughout the building. Due to the price category and shared bathroom I was a bit worried if the place will be safe initially. When I arrived, I was given my own princess tower with just one or two other rooms. My neighbour was snoring anytime I woke up so a perfect stay. :) I remember the bathroom was supposed to be shared, however in my case, shared was just the toilet. Shower was part of the room, as well as a sink. Great is also the well maintained kitchen where you can make a big tea in the morning. Tip: For a good espresso you can visit Element Boulders in the neighbourhood. They don’t want entry fee to just buy a coffee or snack; the place is cozy, coffee great and wi-fi stable.

The breakfast offered by the friendly staff was excellent for beginning the day. The staff was friendly during my stay in Kassel. The location of the hostel is excellent. I like the architecture of the hostel along with the comfort of the bed in the room that I occupied during my stay in Kassel.

The apartment was very nice, small but cozy and it was equipped with everything. The landlords where very nice and ready for everything we needed. The apartment is both close to the centre and to the central station.

This was a good place for us to stop and rest a while, on our two day road trip around. Yimei is a terrific, caring host who makes you feel at home. The dinner suggestion was spot-on, and we had a really good meal, and a very pleasant 20min Spaziergang walk to it that evening. There was a mix up with the booking which was my fault, I initially booked for one but should have booked for two. But Yimei spent all the time needed to sort it out, thanks so much for doing all that. Also the flat size is great, two rooms with all facilities.
