Housed in a converted prison from 1837, this atmospheric hotel is found on Katajanokka Island in central Helsinki. The hotel is charming - a tastefully converted prison! The room we had was perfect - everything worked! The hotel is perfectly situated for the Viking Line terminal and is right on the number 4 tram route which makes getting into the city centre very easy (although this is a very pleasant 15 minute walk if you don't want to use the tram). The breakfast offering is superb and the dinner menu is excellent with freshly cooked and well presented dishes. The staff are very welcoming and exceptionally helpful.

Located by the waterfront of Katajanokka, Scandic Grand Marina is housed in 1920s Art Nouveau building and offers free WiFi, sauna, gym and a 24-hour on-site shop. Nice hotel and very good location. Very good breakfast, friendly staff...

Located on Helsinki’s Katajanokka island, surrounded by the sea, this hostel is a 5-minute tram ride from the city centre. Vyökatu Tram Stop is just around the corner. Location, price, cleanliness and bathroom, everything was as I expected. The hostel also has a sauna :) tram stop is 10 steps away. Thank you for everythink. I will come again

Viking Line ferry sails from Helsinki to Tallinn and travels across the Gulf of Finland. All staff were welcoming and very accommodating. Everything was clean and matched the description and photos. Ideal way to travel from Helsinki to Tallinn and get a good nights sleep on the way! Would highly recommend :)
