Loved staying here, the Dog house has so many different quirky extras that make it feel like so much more than a hotel. Located on Princes Street, The Balmoral has a 4 AA Rosette restaurant, a pool and a gym. Waverley Station and Edinburgh's main shopping area are within 5 minutes' walk. It was just perfect. Loved the staff.

The Witchery by the Castle offers a range of opulent suites in Edinburgh, each one unique with its own special features. The best hotel I have ever stayed at. The experience is so unique and magical. Breakfast was excellent also we enjoyed the dinner at the secret garden. Staff were so helpful and so professional.

Just metres from Holyrood Park, Edinburgh Marriott Hotel Holyrood features an award-winning restaurant and spa. With Edinburgh Castle just a mile away, guests have free WiFi access and large rooms. Very large king room. Shower head was great. Didn't know there was a large indoor pool/sauna/spa when I booked, and they were wonderful. Large variety at breakfast. £18 if not prebooked, £12 if prebooked. Katie, Donald, and David at the front desk were very helpful with all details and a wealth of local information and suggestions for attractions/dining. It is one block off The Royal Mile, quiet at night for good sleep.
