Le Malve Cave Retreat Cave Retreat is located in Sasso Caveoso, the historic part of Matera. It boasts air-conditioned rooms with a town-view balcony and a buffet breakfast. The room we stayed in was beautiful and very clean. Location was perfect for walking around/exploring Matera. Gianvito is exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Thank you!

Set inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO site, Corte San Pietro is housed in a renovated historical building carved out of stone. It offers rooms with a private entrance and free Wi-Fi throughout. Everything was super. You can not imagine, what a fantastic experience is to be there..., it is a must to visit them. Want to go back asap!

Very big and comfortable room, the bed was huge and great for a restful sleep. The hotel is located at the top of the Sassi, the beautiful historical centre, making it really easy to reach the most beautiful landmarks of the town by foot. The staff are really really nice, everyone is so kind and helpful, particularly Rocco. Beautiful terrace with an amazing view, highly recommended for your breakfast in the morning if the weather permits it. I particularly loved that there are only 9 rooms, so your stay will feel even more premium.

Super spacious and well designed room as well as bathroom. Loved it. Breakfast was having great selection including home made food.

Located in Matera, 300 metres from Matera Cathedral, Quarry Resort features accommodation with a bar and private parking. I loved the location. We were upgraded to a junior suite. I loved the room. Breakfast was great. Would def recommend this hotel

Ideally located in the Sassi di Matera district of Matera, Cenobio Hotel & SPA Matera is set 800 metres from Convent of Sant' Agostino, 240 m from Matera Cathedral and 400 metres from MUSMA Museum. We loved our stay at Cenobio hotel. We were very well taken care of by Mario, who did his utmost to make sure our stay at Matera was the best it could be.
