Le Malve Cave Retreat Cave Retreat is located in Sasso Caveoso, the historic part of Matera. It boasts air-conditioned rooms with a town-view balcony and a buffet breakfast. The room we stayed in was beautiful and very clean. Location was perfect for walking around/exploring Matera. Gianvito is exceptional and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Thank you!

Set inside the Matera Sassi UNESCO site, Corte San Pietro is housed in a renovated historical building carved out of stone. It offers rooms with a private entrance and free Wi-Fi throughout. Everything was super. You can not imagine, what a fantastic experience is to be there..., it is a must to visit them. Want to go back asap!

Very big and comfortable room, the bed was huge and great for a restful sleep. The hotel is located at the top of the Sassi, the beautiful historical centre, making it really easy to reach the most beautiful landmarks of the town by foot. The staff are really really nice, everyone is so kind and helpful, particularly Rocco. Beautiful terrace with an amazing view, highly recommended for your breakfast in the morning if the weather permits it. I particularly loved that there are only 9 rooms, so your stay will feel even more premium.

Set in Matera, Il Carrubo residenza Walk&Stay features a fitness centre, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. What a stay! The city in it self is an absolute 10/10! But Gianni (the owner of the hotel) made the stay even more perfect! Even though he did not speak much English (and we do not speak Italian) he still did everything to make our stay right for us. He even took us on a hike through an olive garden! The room was nice and chilled and the bath was spacious! Would definitely recommend this to anyone even remotely considering Matera!!!
