A 1-minute walk from Shikotsu Toya National Park, Kitayuzawa Mori no soraniwa is located in the centre of the Kita Yuzawa hot-spring area. Awesome hotel, really enjoyed it. Its aimed toward families, I wouldnt come here unless you have kids. Helpful staff and the room was big.

Renovated in June 2015 and located just steps away from the Shikotsu Toya National Park and in the centre of the Kita Yuzawa hot-spring area, Midorinokaze Resort Kitayuzawa is a 35-minute bus ride... the onsen was spectacular and the secret garden. it was so discreet I didn’t see it the first time. The staff were accommodating and they speak English which was a breeze! we booked for w nights so they gave us a complimentary pass to use the neighboring onsen, which we weren’t able to try. The food was really nice and they had plenty of options.

Offering hot-spring baths, a Ganbanyoku stone spa and buffet dinners, Horohoro Sanso provides a free shuttle from JR Sapporo Train Station upon advance request. Great Onsen that switches every other day. Excellent japanese food. Also some western choices available. Friendly staff. Wifi in the room. We would come again.
