Guests at Hotel Taisetsu Onsen&Canyon Resort can enjoy indoor/outdoor public hot-spring baths and request for relaxing massages. Some hot-spring baths are available 24/7. Onsen!! Super nice and variety to choose; open air or top view!! Very relaxing onsen. Good for family. Although it is golden week weekend, the place is so organized that everything is really smooth. Nice place and easy to go to any attractions nearby.

Featuring natural hot spring baths, Mount View Hotel is situated at the foot of Mount Daisetsu. Kamikawa Station is a 30-minute drive away. Free Wi-Fi is available at the lobby. Good location and cheap. I was on a cycling trip and didn’t want to have to travel farther than Sounkyo Onsen. All the nicer hotels were booked. So I booked here but then paid for a day pass to use the Onsen at one of the nicer hotels. Room was comfortable and had a nice view of the River. Room was spacious. Staff was nice.
