HUGE very good buffet for breakfast and lunch. caters to bus tours as well as individual travelers. was able to somehow avoid the busload groups in onsen and buffet so actually trip was relaxing and peaceful . saw best fall foliage on trip here. was originally assigned room that had no view . Was able to go to front desk and after studying the reservations for a while they kindly switched rooms to a great view over the canyon.

Mount View Hotel ligger ved foden af Daisetsu-bjerget og har naturlige varme kilder. Kamikawa Station ligger 30 minutters kørsel derfra. Der er gratis trådløs internetadgang i lobbyen. Good location and cheap. I was on a cycling trip and didn’t want to have to travel farther than Sounkyo Onsen. All the nicer hotels were booked. So I booked here but then paid for a day pass to use the Onsen at one of the nicer hotels. Room was comfortable and had a nice view of the River. Room was spacious. Staff was nice.
