Located in Kyoto, less than 1 km from Arashiama Bamboo Grove, MUNI KYOTO by Onko Chishin provides accommodation with a fitness centre, private parking, a garden and a terrace. From the facilities & the view (mountain view room, coupled with sakura season & great weather) to the breakfast selection and overall location (right next to Arashiyama's Katsura river), I would 100% recommend booking a stay at Muni. Did a daytrip from Tokyo but would return for a longer stay.

Very close to the station and just a short walk to the bamboo forest! Breakfast was also amazing!!

Ryuta and his staff was amazing and very attentive during breakfast. Thank you so much! Also, Takama cun was amazing too. He was extra kind and really helped me with everything including helping me deliver my luggage to the next location. Thank you so much for everything.

Set in Kyoto, within 1.3 km of Arashiama Bamboo Grove and 3.4 km of Otagi Nenbutsu-ji Temple, Hotel Arashiyama offers accommodation with a terrace and as well as free private parking for guests who... Great view (you can see Togetsu-kyo Bridge just outside the window), clean and big room, quite place, young staff can speak english, amenities provided, great for short stay if you didn't bring any stuffs. Walk round 20mins if you take JR, but worth. In the area of Togetsu-kyo Bridge, many souvenir shops around. Can have a nice walk in early morning to avoid the crowd. Note: 1. Restaurants around that area will close early (most of them around 6:00pm). If you want to have traditional kyoto dinner nearby, you can go櫻宿膳 錦. 2. No lift, need to take staris. Staff will help for carring luaggages. Hotel will provide breakfast in japanese style, aslo have coupon for hot spring next to hotel (but I haven't got time to expreience it). It's a good choice if you want to get away the crowd or noise or expreience the beauty of the culture and nature.

Renovated in 2014, Hotel Binario Saga Arashiyama offers a restaurant, a café and a public bath. JR Sagaarashiyama Train Station and Torokko Saga Station is just a minutes’ walk away. Booked the room with beds instead of futons, really nice and big room! Breakfast and dinner was amazing, a whole experience! And staff was so nice!

Only 5 minutes from JR Saga Arashiyama Station with the free shuttle, Sun Members Kyoto Saga offers Western rooms, free WiFi in all guest rooms and the lobby, and a restaurant. I’d say this hotel is underrated. We stayed here when we visited places around/near Arashiyama so I won’t say that the location is bad. You just have to plan your trip and map it out. Staff were great, I can speak a little japanese but they can converse well in english, too. Room was great and spacious - and the sunrise view from our balcony was beyond perfect. The building is classic and well-maintained. They have a shuttle going to Saga Arashiyama station, but I don’t mind the 10-15 mins. morning walk.
