Ive been traveling frequently for the last 10 or so years. This hotel is easily in my top 5 hotels that Ive stayed at. Great service, the rooms are spacious, the location is perfect. Ive had the best sleep in this hotel. This time, I only booked for a night because we were passing by, but the next time I come, Im going to exclusively book this hotel. The staff is really nice and very welcoming. The hotel and the rooms - BY FAR - surpassed my expectations and looked even better in person. Ive gotten used to living in smaller rooms when coming to Japan, so this was a very welcome and surprising change from the standard- loved everything!

Located in Kyoto and with Arashiama Bamboo Grove reachable within 1.3 km, Yado Arashiyama provides a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a restaurant. Location + breakfast + Mr. Takuma at the reception, he has great communication skills. All processes were handled quickly and practically. Set in Kyoto, within 1.3 km of Arashiama Bamboo Grove and 3.4 km of Otagi Nenbutsu-ji Temple, Hotel Arashiyama offers accommodation with a terrace and as well as free private parking for guests who... Great view (you can see Togetsu-kyo Bridge just outside the window), clean and big room, quite place, young staff can speak english, amenities provided, great for short stay if you didn't bring any stuffs. Walk round 20mins if you take JR, but worth. In the area of Togetsu-kyo Bridge, many souvenir shops around. Can have a nice walk in early morning to avoid the crowd. Note: 1. Restaurants around that area will close early (most of them around 6:00pm). If you want to have traditional kyoto dinner nearby, you can go櫻宿膳 錦. 2. No lift, need to take staris. Staff will help for carring luaggages. Hotel will provide breakfast in japanese style, aslo have coupon for hot spring next to hotel (but I haven't got time to expreience it). It's a good choice if you want to get away the crowd or noise or expreience the beauty of the culture and nature.

Renovated in 2014, Hotel Binario Saga Arashiyama offers a restaurant, a café and a public bath. JR Sagaarashiyama Train Station and Torokko Saga Station is just a minutes’ walk away. The location was the best right next to the station we came from only walked 150 feet right to my room

Situated right along the gentle streams of Katsura River and boasting a beautiful Japanese garden, Suiran, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Kyoto offers the perfect getaway for travellers seeking peace and... A quiet and beautiful respite from the city. The garden and river views are lovely and the free champagne at the waterfront cafe after a long day of walking was greatly appreciated. The staff were welcoming and helpful every step of the way.

Limang minuto lang ang layo mula sa JR Saga Arashiyama Station na may libreng shuttle, nag-aalok ang Sun Members Kyoto Saga ng mga Western room, libreng WiFi sa lahat ng guest room at lobby, at... I’d say this hotel is underrated. We stayed here when we visited places around/near Arashiyama so I won’t say that the location is bad. You just have to plan your trip and map it out. Staff were great, I can speak a little japanese but they can converse well in english, too. Room was great and spacious - and the sunrise view from our balcony was beyond perfect. The building is classic and well-maintained. They have a shuttle going to Saga Arashiyama station, but I don’t mind the 10-15 mins. morning walk.
