Ive been traveling frequently for the last 10 or so years. This hotel is easily in my top 5 hotels that Ive stayed at. Great service, the rooms are spacious, the location is perfect. Ive had the best sleep in this hotel. This time, I only booked for a night because we were passing by, but the next time I come, Im going to exclusively book this hotel. The staff is really nice and very welcoming. The hotel and the rooms - BY FAR - surpassed my expectations and looked even better in person. Ive gotten used to living in smaller rooms when coming to Japan, so this was a very welcome and surprising change from the standard- loved everything!

Kyoto'da, Arashiama Bambu Korusu'na 1,3 km, Otagi Nenbutsu-ji Tapınağı'na ise 3,4 km mesafede yer alan Hotel Arashiyama'da teras ve ücretsiz özel otopark bulunur. Great view (you can see Togetsu-kyo Bridge just outside the window), clean and big room, quite place, young staff can speak english, amenities provided, great for short stay if you didn't bring any stuffs. Walk round 20mins if you take JR, but worth. In the area of Togetsu-kyo Bridge, many souvenir shops around. Can have a nice walk in early morning to avoid the crowd. Note: 1. Restaurants around that area will close early (most of them around 6:00pm). If you want to have traditional kyoto dinner nearby, you can go櫻宿膳 錦. 2. No lift, need to take staris. Staff will help for carring luaggages. Hotel will provide breakfast in japanese style, aslo have coupon for hot spring next to hotel (but I haven't got time to expreience it). It's a good choice if you want to get away the crowd or noise or expreience the beauty of the culture and nature.

Tam olarak Katsura Nehri'nin nazik akıntıları boyunca yer alan ve güzel Japon bahçelerine sahip olan Suiran, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Kyoto huzur ve sakinlik arayan seyahat severler için mükemmel... A quiet and beautiful respite from the city. The garden and river views are lovely and the free champagne at the waterfront cafe after a long day of walking was greatly appreciated. The staff were welcoming and helpful every step of the way.

JR Saga Arashiyama İstasyonu'na ücretsiz servisle sadece 5 dakika uzaklıkta yer alan Sun Üyeler Kyoto Saga, Batı tarzı odaları, lobi alanı ve restoranıyla hizmet vermektedir. I’d say this hotel is underrated. We stayed here when we visited places around/near Arashiyama so I won’t say that the location is bad. You just have to plan your trip and map it out. Staff were great, I can speak a little japanese but they can converse well in english, too. Room was great and spacious - and the sunrise view from our balcony was beyond perfect. The building is classic and well-maintained. They have a shuttle going to Saga Arashiyama station, but I don’t mind the 10-15 mins. morning walk.
