There are luxurious breakfast boxes made by different restaurants every day, which is amazing. The quality of the toiletries are so great, and the service is very thoughtful. A very recommendable hotel.

Wonderful greeting with local Mochi and a refreshing glass of champagne and green tea. We were able to check-in early at around 11:30. Thank you to the manager for her flexibility. This boutique is located by the River. Our suite had a clear view over local shrines and the river delta. Imperial Palace is 5min walking distance. Shimogamo Shrine, a 10 minute walk. Concierge booked a three day tour guide for us who took great care of us. We booked last minute and could not get good restaurant or guide reservations. Rio took care of everything. Lovely property, manager showed us other suites too, spacious and home feeling.

El Guesthouse Bon está situado a 5 minutos a pie del templo Daitokuji y ofrece habitaciones confortables de estilo japonés con aire acondicionado y sin hora de cierre nocturno. The owner is a great guy to talk with, gives a lot of suggestions for places to go to and always tells you how to get there. He has a big hand drawn map on the wall which is such a good idea in my opinion. Everything was clean and prepared on my arrival, owner explained to me everything regarding the stay and answered all of my questions:) Location is far from the city center so the surroundings feel more relaxing, there is also a great opportunity to talk to the locals.

Cozy house - Vacation STAY 13159 está en Kioto y dispone de alojamiento con wifi gratis a 2,6 km de Templo Kinkaku-ji, a 3,1 km de Santuario de Kitano-temmangū y a 3,9 km de Palacio Imperial. Super comphy with everything you need while traveling, washing machine, kettle for your coffee, and microwave oven. Spacious with a big bed. Kinkakuji is very close, so you could be there before being crowded. The owner is a nice and helpful guy.

ROKU KYOTO, LXR Hotels & Resorts se encuentra en Kioto, a 17 min a pie de Templo Kinkaku-ji, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, centro de fitness y jardín. Every single corner! The hotel was just perfect, I found out about it by coincidence and couldn’t not take a room and enjoy at least a day before I leave Kyoto. Beds are very comfy, excellent service, friendly staff, breath taking views, a mix of modern/ traditional Japanese design.

Daitokuji Sushicho está en Kioto, a 2,4 km de Templo Kinkaku-ji, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y restaurante. La verdad que todo fue genial , la pareja que gestiona la casa es muy acogedora, parece de estar en tu casa, aconsejo el desayuno, una maravilla hecha por el chef y aconsejo la cena si quieres comer un sashimi de nivel absoluto. La posición está bastante bien pero aconsejo una bicicleta pa llegar a la metro , las instalaciones podrían mejorar pero al final hay que tener a mente que es un ryokan tradicional japonés verdadero , vivirás una experiencia verdadera como un japonés auténtico. 10 cum laude

Free bike & free WIFI 301 Take it easy se encuentra en el barrio de Kita Ward, en Kioto, cerca de Templo Kinkaku-ji. Dispone de bicicletas gratis, wifi gratis y lavadora. The apartment is located in a quiet non-touristic area. It’s equipped with everything you need during the stay. I found the bike and the portable WiFi to be very useful indeed.

Nachiya está en el barrio de Kita Ward, en Kioto, a 18 min a pie de Templo Kinkaku-ji, a 1,9 km de Santuario de Kitano-temmangū y a 3,8 km de Castillo Nijō. Excellent accommodation that features modern amenities but with traditional Japanese architecture and aesthetics. Modern amenities include fully automated washer/dryer, automatically filling bath tub, wifi, regular sized fridge/freezer, etc. The owner has left printed instructions for various features of the house in multiple languages, including English. The views of the garden are tranquil and it was especially beautiful since it snowed during out stay. The location is very close to a bus stop (Bukkyou University), a convenience store, and a supermarket if you want to make something simple in the kitchen. It's locate in the middle of a residential neighborhood so I had questions at first, but I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the stay. I would definitely come back again.

Cozy house 411 free wifi a rented electric bicycle, que cuenta con vistas a la ciudad, ofrece alojamiento con balcón y hervidor a unos 3,1 km de Santuario de Kitano-temmangū. The owner was very friendly and welcoming right after we reached the nearby station, and the following service was phenomenal. We had 4 big luggages, but he helped us carry all the way up to the 4th floor (no elevator unfortunately, so make sure to carry a moderate amount for your own sake). Location-wise, I suppose the only well-known attraction to foreign tourists is Kinkaku-ji, however, the owner spent quite a while explaining to us what other surrounding attractions and local food we could try, which were way less crowded than the usual spots like Fushimi Inari and the like (definitely worth a visit if you are more into discovering the serenity side of Kyoto). Our family did not know Japanese very well, but he made us feel welcome and our travel experience in Kyoto was very much fulfilled.
