There are luxurious breakfast boxes made by different restaurants every day, which is amazing. The quality of the toiletries are so great, and the service is very thoughtful. A very recommendable hotel.

I booked a suite with garden river view and got a complimentary upgrade to a Panorama suite. Beautiful interior and wonderful feeling floating above the river. I was a le to see the mountains and shrines beyond. The manager Rio was so kind to book all our restaurants. The high season is super busy, but we haven't missed a single thing. Excellent location and very near my favorite Shrine, Shimogamo Jinja. The other days, we hiked up and down the river, lovely places and restaurants in the neighborhood. For sure, try the local deserts offered.

Just a 5-minute walk from Daitokuji Temple, Guesthouse Bon offers convenience in air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with no curfew. Amazing host. Very helpful and kind. Offer welcome drinks and morning coffee with instagramable spots. Feel like home

Super comphy with everything you need while traveling, washing machine, kettle for your coffee, and microwave oven. Spacious with a big bed. Kinkakuji is very close, so you could be there before being crowded. The owner is a nice and helpful guy.

The hotel was just perfect, I found out about it by coincidence and couldn’t not take a room and enjoy at least a day before I leave Kyoto. Beds are very comfy, excellent service, friendly staff, breath taking views, a mix of modern/ traditional Japanese design.

The host and his wife were both great and made us feel like home from the first moment. Super polite and genuine hospitable! The room was also excellent at creating the full japanese living experience! As a bonus, it has it's private little Japanese garden on the backyard which we liked very much!

The apartment is located in a quiet non-touristic area. It’s equipped with everything you need during the stay. I found the bike and the portable WiFi to be very useful indeed.

Excellent accommodation that features modern amenities but with traditional Japanese architecture and aesthetics. Modern amenities include fully automated washer/dryer, automatically filling bath tub, wifi, regular sized fridge/freezer, etc. The owner has left printed instructions for various features of the house in multiple languages, including English. The views of the garden are tranquil and it was especially beautiful since it snowed during out stay. The location is very close to a bus stop (Bukkyou University), a convenience store, and a supermarket if you want to make something simple in the kitchen. It's locate in the middle of a residential neighborhood so I had questions at first, but I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the stay. I would definitely come back again.

Objekat Cozy house 411 free wifi a rented electric bicycle, udaljen oko 3,1 km od znamenitosti Svetilište Kitano Tenmangu, nudi smeštaj sa balkonom i kuvalom, kao i pogled na grad. The owner was very friendly and welcoming right after we reached the nearby station, and the following service was phenomenal. We had 4 big luggages, but he helped us carry all the way up to the 4th floor (no elevator unfortunately, so make sure to carry a moderate amount for your own sake). Location-wise, I suppose the only well-known attraction to foreign tourists is Kinkaku-ji, however, the owner spent quite a while explaining to us what other surrounding attractions and local food we could try, which were way less crowded than the usual spots like Fushimi Inari and the like (definitely worth a visit if you are more into discovering the serenity side of Kyoto). Our family did not know Japanese very well, but he made us feel welcome and our travel experience in Kyoto was very much fulfilled.
