Situated conveniently in the centre of Kyoto, Hotel Imagine Kyoto offers air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. It was a beautifully designed space with lovely staff who were extremely helpful and polite, nothing was too much trouble. The yukatas were beautiful and a great touch. We enjoyed the tatami mats in the bedroom which felt very authentic and the roof garden space which we enjoyed in peace on one afternoon. The kitchen space is so helpful when travelling with a family and has everything you might need. The free coffee was a life saver in a country where it is hard to find a good cup of coffee.

22 PIECES offers rooms with free WiFi in Kyoto, in a prime location 1.8 km from Tofuku-ji Temple and 2.9 km from Kiyomizu-dera Temple. This 3-star hotel offers luggage storage space. It was one of the best, the rooms are so big, we are able to gather together with familes and have dinner together with all the nicest appliances and kitchen tools provided. And they provide a dyson hairdryer and all the best kitchen utensils you can borrow including dyson airwrap. Its fenomenal. And lastly all the staffs can speak english and are all very kind. They helped a lot especially they accompany my brother to visit a doctor for his son and the staff helped and waited until everything is finished. Truly an amazing and heartwarming experience.

Ideally set in the centre of Kyoto, Rihga Gran Kyoto offers air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a restaurant. We loved the communal bath. The facilities and beauty products were exceptional. My daughter and I enjoyed it every night we stayed. Not accustomed to using communal baths at all but love this part of the Japanese lifestyle.

Framboise KYOTO Hotel de charme er vel staðsett í miðbæ Kyoto, í innan við 1,7 km fjarlægð frá TKP Garden City Kyoto og í 1,7 km fjarlægð frá Tofuku-ji-hofinu. Two beds and a decent sized room at this price point is fantastic. Searching for mid-priced accommodation is difficult in Kyoto for whatever reason. (Unless you don't mind pods) Around 10min walk to Kujo Stn. And maybe 20min to Kyoto Stn. is a great convenient location. There's also a convenience store about 5min away. Hotel is tucked away from the loud and crowded streets around the Gion area. Very little traffic goes through the street. The area framboise is located at does not attract crowds in general. The coffee machine with the provided coffee pods is nice to have. There weren't many restaurants or cafés around so it helps when you leave early in the morning for Fushi Inari or something.
