Set within less than 1 km of Sanzen-in Temple and 7.3 km of Ruriko-in Temple in Kyoto, Ryoso Chatani provides accommodation with seating area. We loved everything about it! The comfortable rooms, beautiful views, lovely yukatas and amazing food (we had both breakfast and dinner) were some highlights. Our hosts were kind and friendly, and we loved the ability to take out the free bikes and explore Ohara! The view of the valley at sunrise is fantastic. We would love to come back to Kyoto and stay at Ryoso Chatani again.

Oyado Seryo is a 3-minute drive from JR Ohara Bus Station and a free 2-way shuttle is provided. The Japanese-style accommodation offers 2 public baths, free parking and free Wi-Fi access. Breakfast was traditional Japanese, with seasonal variation. No two breakfasts were exactly the same. It was perfect for us, as we were looking for an authentic experience. The room was traditional, but with sufficient climate control and a decent wifi connection.

The owner was very kind. And the accommodation was clean and very spacious. If I visit here next time, I will definitely stay here

Ohara no Sato ligger ved varme kilder, og serverer den kjente miso-gryteretten til middag. Her bor du bare 200 meter fra Jakko-in tempel, og tilbys rom med tradisjonelle futon-senger og tatami-gulv. The hotel was very nice and clean, the staff was very friendly and the onsen was a great experience. The miso soup and miso pastes they offered were the best! Ohara village is very charming as well, I recommend the experience.

Offering a completely non-smoking hot-spring experience, Ohara Sanso features hot-pot dinners and a unique cafe with a hot-spring foot bath. Amazing stay. Actually wanted to cancel the remaining of my osaka and tokyo trip and just relax here. Definitely worth the price. Breakfast and dinner is served (delicious 👌🏼) it’s not too crowded. You can experience traditional Japanese. The short walk from the bus station to the place adds up to the experience. Special thanks to Youshun for attending to our needs. We did not need to ask. He has the initiative to provide us with what we need. Very friendly and considerate 💯😊
