Ryoso Chatani ligger i Kyoto, mindre än 1 km från Sanzen-in tempel, och erbjuder boende med gratis cyklar, gratis privat parkering, en trädgård och en terrass. We loved everything about it! The comfortable rooms, beautiful views, lovely yukatas and amazing food (we had both breakfast and dinner) were some highlights. Our hosts were kind and friendly, and we loved the ability to take out the free bikes and explore Ohara! The view of the valley at sunrise is fantastic. We would love to come back to Kyoto and stay at Ryoso Chatani again.

Oyado Seryo is a 3-minute drive from JR Ohara Bus Station and a free 2-way shuttle is provided. The Japanese-style accommodation offers 2 public baths, free parking and free Wi-Fi access. The location and grounds are great, as are the layout and facilities of the ryokan. My adult daughter and my wife loved the visit and had nothing but praise for the experience, including the food and the onsens.

Ohara Sensui Surrounded by Beautiful Nature ligger i Kyoto, 7,7 km från Ruriko-in och 10 km från Shugakuin Imperial Villa, i ett område där man kan ägna sig åt vandring. The owner was very kind. And the accommodation was clean and very spacious. If I visit here next time, I will definitely stay here

Ohara no Sato Onsen är en minshuku, ett särskilt japanskt boende, som erbjuder misobaserade hot pot-rätter. Misopasta, en pasta gjord på röda bönor, har producerats på boendet i över 100 år. The staff was super super nice with us. They explained us how to use the onsen and eat everything during dinner and breakfast. They offered the shuttle to take us to the Ohara station. The amount of food is amazing and the miso tasted so so good. It is totally worth it just because of the food. Despite there are specific times to use the onsen (one hour women, cleaning, one hour men), we could enjoy it. We were afraid the onsen was very small but there are 3: one indoor and two outdoor. It was freezing outside (it was snowing in the morning) but the water was hot enough. They only prepared one bed as a sample but we thought it was actually nice to learn how to do it. The views were super nice from the room and dining hall. The room was hot, no problem with that. The Shared room was super clean. Go there if you wanna experience ryokan and onsen but you don’t have too much money or time to go to a far place and want to stay close to Kyoto.

Ohara Sanso erbjuder en helt rökfri upplevelse med varma källor, hot pot-middagar och ett unikt kafé med fotbad i varma källor. It is beautiful, traditional but newly renovated, the bath is amazing
