The location is extremely convenient to visit touristic places and Tadashi Nishimura gave us a map with a recommanded tour which was really useful !

Our favourite stay during our trip to Japan. The hosts were very welcoming and always happy to help us with our questions! I would recommend this guest house to anybody considering to visit Kyoto. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood, but not too far from some major tourist attractions. The hosts also suggested a walk around the neighbourhood with some lovely quiet/calm temples.

Situated in Kyoto, 800 metres from Heian Shrine, Hotel Material features rooms with free WiFi access. I liked everything about the hotel. The staff representative was super helpful and nice, helped us to carry the luggage upstairs. The room was fully-equipped and clean. There is a rooftop where you can just chill out. We could leave our luggage for a couple of hours after the check out time, which we really appreciate! Absolutely the hotel to recommend.

THE HOTEL HIGASHIYAMA by Kyoto Tokyu Hotel mempunyai pusat kecergasan, taman, teres dan restoran di Kyoto. Well maintained property, clean, comfy beds, love the location (away from hustling bustling touristy area), utility room is very useful & convenient (with a very nice smell of detergent/softener - my clothes smells so nice even days after washing). Shuttle bus to/from Kyoto station was very convenient. HIGHLY RECOMEND!
