Well situated in the centre of Kyoto, KABIN Taka offers air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a garden. This 4-star hotel offers luggage storage space. Kabin Taka certainly surpassed my high expectations. The staff are super friendly and speak great English. The entire hotel is spotless, spacious, and modern. Their gym is fully equipped. The room was spacious (for Japan standards), had everything we needed. Located walking distance to public transport, Gion area, in a nice neighborhood. The price is really reasonable given the central location and quality of room and services. Their WiFi was reliable and very fast. We had a great stay!

Well set in the Shimogyo Ward district of Kyoto, Saju Kyoto 茶住京都 is located 600 metres from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall, 1.6 km from Kyoto International Manga Museum and 1.9 km from Samurai... We had a pleasant stay at the Saju Kyoto Hotel! We were welcomed with Matcha tea and delicious cookies. In general, the people were so nice and welcoming. We loved the more „traditional“ experience and had actually a good sleep there! We would definitely come again.
