Hotel Taiko usytuowany jest zaledwie 7 minut spacerem od ośrodka narciarskiego Akakura. Oferuje kryte i odkryte łaźnie z wodą z gorących źródeł, masaże oraz saunę. We loved the traditional Japanese rooms. it was spacious and clean and the large window that overlooked the mountains was the best! The room was kept very clean and warm, and I absolutely loved the hot water and tea corner that was a life saver! They even had a shuttle bus from the nearest station so that made the journey effortless and smooth. The buffet breakfast had a huge selection, both traditional and western options too! We also made use of the Ski rental shop which was mighty convenient!

Offering traditional Japanese-style rooms, Akakura Akarien is only a 5-minute walk from Akakura Hot Spring Ski Area. JR Myoko Kogen Train Station is a 10-minute drive away. - 2min walk to chairlift and ski rental places, and loads of cute restaurants - Great hot breakfasts every morning - Traditional japanese rooms - Carlo was really flexible in doing a concierge service to get us to other local resorts and the train station which was really helpful and cheaper than the taxi!

Only a 5-minute walk to Akakura Onsen Ski Resort, Star Hotel provides air-conditioned rooms with Japan’s unique tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Breakfast was great value and very tasty. Room was very traditional and I enjoyed staying 2 nights. Air conditioner helped room stay warm.
