From all the places we stayed in Japan, this was our favorite. Everything was perfect - the combination of a peaceful atmosphere with a very comfortable place. We got the option with dinner and breakfast, which we can only recommend - everything was very well prepared and delicious. The highlight of course is the private onsen, which can provide a well needed resting for travelers like us, who walk a lot during vacation. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Takayama'daki Okuhida Onsen bölgesinde, Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Köyü'ne 29 kilometre mesafede yer alan Yunohirakan, ücretsiz Wi-Fi erişimine sahip klimalı odalar sunmaktadır. An excellent place to stay. Food was excellent and facilities were great. The private onsens was the main reason we decided to stay here. They had a small, medium and large private onsens on top of the public baths that were available. Very easy to access and the perfect getaway for myself and the wifey!

Takayama'daki Okuhida Onsen bölgesinde yer alan Oyado Eitaro, iki farklı kaplıca ve kayak depolama alanından ücretsiz akan kaynak suyu sunmaktadır. Tesis bünyesindeki özel otopark ücretsizdir. Hotel is just 2-3 minutes walk from bus stop with nice private onsen. Both breakfast and dinner are excellent and delicious.

Takayama'da yer alan Tabist Kazeyuki adlı yetişkinlere özel tesiste ücretsiz bisikletler, bahçe ve ortak salon bulunur. Ryokan is located close to the bus station. The staff was very nice and welcoming. They gave me all the information about the hotel. The room and the hotel in general looked very nice. The was some problem with outdoor onsen and it was not available. I was informed about it in advance. However, the two indoor onsens worked as expected, so I was able to enjoy the hot baths several times during my stay. I'm a budget tourist and originally I chose this hotel because it was the most affordable in town. I didn't know what to expect, but my stay turned out to be excellent. Without experiencing living in ryokan and taking an onsen bath, my Japan experience wouldn't be full.

Açık hava banyosu ve bahçe manzarası sunan Hirayukan, Takayama'da Takayama İstasyonu'na 35 km ve Hida Minzoku Mura Halk Köyü'ne 37 km uzaklıkta yer almaktadır. After hiking at kamakochi; very nice onsen, all you can eat buffet with traditional japanese food, very comfy bed, japanese style room, massage chairs, you get japanese pyamas where you can walk all day in (even to the restaurant). Completly relaxing.

Hirayu Kaplıca Kayak Alanı'nın kuzeyinde, Hirayu Onsen Otobüs Terminali'ne 1 dakikalık yürüme mesafesinde yer alan Tsuyukusa, bünyesinde doğal bir kaplıca sunmaktadır. very quiet and peaceful guesthouse with incredible facilities. the self check in was a first for me and i found it very self explanatory and efficient.

A 3-minute walk from Hirayu Onsen Bus Terminal, Okada Ryokan Warakutei features Japanese-style accommodations with mountain views. The meals are delicious. Room is spacious and comfortable. The open-air hot spring is a plus. They even have some exhibitions for this historic old hotel.

Sessiz Hida Dağları'nda yer alan Miyama Ouan Kyoritsu Resort, kaplıca banyolu ve doğa manzaralı geleneksel bir konaklama birimidir. Everything was perfect. The beautiful vegetarian meals, amazing private and shared onsen baths, location and outlook in the mountains. Staff were incredible.

Nakamurakan'ın konukları açık/kapalı kaplıca banyolarında dinlenebilir ve Nakai-san kişisel hizmetli servisi ile geleneksel çok servisli yemeklerin tadını çıkarabilirler. The staff here were soooo friendly and helpful. Most of the front desk staff speak decent English and are super helpful. My fiance felt that the privaye onsen was a bit too hot and they were very quick in allowing us to use another one with slightly milder temperatures. The numerous reviews of the lack of cleanliness in the hotel have either been overstated or addressed. The room was very large and clean. The reviews of the onsen having algae are understandably ignorant, the algae is something that onsen enthusiasts enjoy because it (supposedly) has incredibly positive effects on your skin, and is a sign that the onsen water has not been treated with harsh chemicals. The food was incredible and you should definitely opt for the half board. Both breakfasts and dinners we had were a huge spread and very filling, we did have issues breathing after finishing our meals. It is regrettable that there are so many negative reviews which I feel are quite unfair after staying here, as they definitely did make me second guess my choice to stay here. The place has been a bit worn with age but this has only lent to its charm. The futon beds were very comfortable, and better than the ones we slept on at more expensive ryokans. I wish that the gift shop was a bit more well stocked. I hope to return to see this establishment rejuvenated in the future. Perhaps if the garden was restored and certain parts of the hotel refreshed, it would be a truly exceptional stay.
