Great location 1 minute's walk from the train station. Breakfast was wonderful, staff friendly and helpful, suite on the top floor spectacular (especially the bathroom)! Temple Hotel Takayama Zenkoji er vel staðsett í Takayama og býður upp á loftkæld herbergi, garð, ókeypis WiFi og sameiginlega setustofu. Staying at a temple was unique experience. The rooms were beautiful in traditional Japanese style. The fold out beds had an extra mattress and were very comfortable. The view of the garden was lovely and relaxing. We participated in morning prayer and also a meditation session. Both are highly recommended. We also recommend the small breakfast restaurant across the street for toast and pancakes. The place is run by an adorable elderly couple.

Mercure Hida Takayama er staðsett í miðbæ Takayama, 200 metrum frá Takayama-stöðinni. Það er bar á staðnum. Very near to JR station. Free access to public onsen. Very clean.

Chisun Grand Takayama er staðsett í miðbæ Takayama, 200 metra frá Takayama-stöðinni og 2,3 km frá Hida Minzoku Mura-Folk Village. It was just perfect! The room was huge which make it very unique in Japan 😄 Very clean and well maintained. Great location

Ascend Hotel Collection er staðsett í Takayama, í innan við 700 metra fjarlægð frá Takayama-stöðinni. Located very near to the train station. So, after you arrived via the Hida Limited Express, it's only a mere 2-3 minutes walk. Even if you arrive via bus, the bus station is also next to the train station. It's located on this side of the bridge, so going over to the old walking streets you will have to walk to cross the beautiful bridge (not very far). Convenient store Family Mart is located just opposite the train station. The hotel has a very pleasant vibe and the room was exceptional. The hotel even has a complimentary onsen for guests at 2nd floor. Superb experience.

FAV HOTEL HIDATAKAYAMA West er staðsett í miðbæ Takayama, 600 metra frá Takayama-stöðinni og 1,7 km frá Hida Minzoku Mura-fólksþorpinu. Loved everything about this hotel, especially the room design. Fully equipped, very comfortable, and spacious. We could park our car there which is great!
