Well situated in Takayama, Temple Hotel Takayama Zenkoji offers air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. This 4-star hotel offers a shared kitchen and luggage storage space. Staying at a temple was unique experience. The rooms were beautiful in traditional Japanese style. The fold out beds had an extra mattress and were very comfortable. The view of the garden was lovely and relaxing. We participated in morning prayer and also a meditation session. Both are highly recommended. We also recommend the small breakfast restaurant across the street for toast and pancakes. The place is run by an adorable elderly couple.

Situated in the centre of Takayama, Chisun Grand Takayama is set 200 metres from Takayama Station and 2.3 km from Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village. It was just perfect! The room was huge which make it very unique in Japan 😄 Very clean and well maintained. Great location

Conveniently set in Takayama, Hotel around Takayama, Ascend Hotel Collection provides air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant, free WiFi and a bar. Located very near to the train station. So, after you arrived via the Hida Limited Express, it's only a mere 2-3 minutes walk. Even if you arrive via bus, the bus station is also next to the train station. It's located on this side of the bridge, so going over to the old walking streets you will have to walk to cross the beautiful bridge (not very far). Convenient store Family Mart is located just opposite the train station. The hotel has a very pleasant vibe and the room was exceptional. The hotel even has a complimentary onsen for guests at 2nd floor. Superb experience.

Situated in the centre of Takayama, FAV HOTEL HIDATAKAYAMA West is set 600 metres from Takayama Station and 1.7 km from Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village. Loved everything about this hotel, especially the room design. Fully equipped, very comfortable, and spacious. We could park our car there which is great!
