Located a 3-minute walk from JR Akabane Station, Daiwa Roynet Hotel Tokyo Akabane provides modern rooms and free WiFi. The hotel is near the station. The room is spacious. The bed and the pillows are comfortable. I had to work on my laptop while staying, and I was glad the chair and table were suitable for working. On some floors there are vending machines, ice cube machines, and microwaves. The check-in and check-out was smooth. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Conveniently located in the Kita district of Tokyo, Toyoko Inn Tokyo Akabane-eki Higashi-guchi is set 100 metres from Catholic Akabane Church, 400 metres from Akabane Park and 600 metres from... Really good value for money if you just want a place to sleep and relax at the end of the day, <5 min walk from station, stored our luggage on the day before check in time, nice buffet breakfast, big twin beds, good size room, clean, fresh towels every day, heated mirror in the washroom, front desk accepted an Amazon delivery for us. The staff were really polite and kind, and made it feel like home.

Keep in mind that it was my first time in Japan, and I don't travel often to begin with so this review is coming from an inexperienced traveler. I thought this place was great to stay in. The location isn't too far from the Akabane Station (it's about a 10 minute walk), but if you have a lot of luggage it might be a little bit inconvenient. I only stayed for a week and just had a backpack and a carry on so it was fine. The front desk staff was really nice, they do speak some English so checking in and out was simple. If you're staying for an extended period of time they let you select your cleaning days (cleaning happens from 10am-3pm) and then they explain to you that your new towels will be hung on your door daily. The location is convenient because right outside of the hotel there's a cool area with a bunch of places to eat and drink as well as a Family Mart that's right across the street. The best part was that the 7Eleven around the corner has a 7bank ATM (I think all of them do), that accepts VISA as well as most other credit cards so if you forget to do the currency exchange at the airport like I did you can still get yen here. The facility is very clean and the elevator is fast. I stayed in a smoking room and never noticed any weird smells or anything, the room also comes with a nice AC unit and air freshener if you're concerned about that. The bathroom was perfect for me, but if you're taller than like 5'10" I can see how it would feel a little bit cramped. For the price it was amazing and the cleaning crew cleans the room and the bathroom really well.

The Japanese garden is really beautiful and well-maintained. The room is nice and clean, and yummy breakfast too! All the staff are very welcoming and speak fluent English - they really go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The location is good - it’s close to Akabane station which will get you to anywhere in Tokyo easily. I’ll come back next time!

赤羽Japanese-Style private Villa & Bike has a balcony and is situated in Tokyo, within just 600 metres of Shizen Freai Johokan Museum and 500 metres of Shimizuzaka Park. The house was one of the biggest house I've ever been to in Japan. The rooms can fit 4 adults mostly. The bicycles provided by the host were a great help. The host was also very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. I had great experience living here. Will sure to come back and stay here if I were to go to Japan again. The house is 3 storey, those who have problems with stairs should be cautious. Other than that, the ground was flat all the way from the house to the train station.
