The entire vibe of the ryokan was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with a wide variety of onsens on top of the private onsen we already have in our room. Service was fabulous; receptionists were extremely detailed and helpful as we asked plenty of questions about the area & public transport. Dinner and breakfast were amazing and delicious. Waitresses were also courteous and pleasant.

湯田中駅から車でわずか5分の場所に位置する「和風の宿ますや」は、美しい和室の客室、温泉、無料Wi-Fiを提供しています。一部の客室には専用の露天風呂が付いています。 和風の宿ますやから地獄谷野猿公苑や平和観音（平和祈念像）まで車で15分、善光寺まで車で1時間です。 和風の宿ますやの明るく快適で広々とした客室は畳敷きで、布団、シーティングエリア、衛星テレビ、冷蔵庫が備わっています。... Staff attention is outstanding, they picked up us at the train station, they took us to the monkey park, they transfer our bags to the train station while we were at the park, although they did not provide shuttle service from the monkey park to the station, they picked up us as the schedule of the bus to the station had changed recently and we were unable to take it and there were no taxis at town. Dinner and breakfast deserve special attention as it was fantastic, excellent quality, local delicacies like mushrooms and a wide variety of dishes. The room with private onsen was one of the best experiences in Japan.
