Hosts have great advice on rentals and transportation for a few days of skiing. Breakfast was fast and great!

Yorozuya se nachází 7 minut chůze od vlakového nádraží Yudanaka a nabízí termální koupele, vířivku a pokoje v japonském stylu s vlastní terasou a vlastní koupelnou. Beautiful traditional Ryokan with attentive staff and a wonderful experience! The onsens are superb. We highly recommend it!

Tawaraya se nachází 5 minut chůze od vlakového nádraží Yudanaka a nabízí ubytování v japonském stylu s bezplatným Wi-Fi a TV s plochou obrazovkou. The service as this Ryokan was 10/10, and was the most authentic one we stayed in during our 4 weeks in Japan. The staff were so lovely, and spoke great English. They showed us to our room, and gave us essentially a "room tour" whilst we drank complimentary tea. They gave us a map with nearby restaurants and ammenties noted on it. The private outdoor onsen was SO nice! You book a slot upon arrival, which you can access in the evening with 30 min slots. The onsen was large and the perfect contrast with the fresh cool air in the evening. Yukatas were provided for us as an option to wear around the hotel - both my partner and I are bigger than the average Japanese person (Wife is plus size, I am 6ft 2) and we both comfortably fit into the ones picked out for us. The only thing that threw us was that during breakfast, they cleared the beds from our room - had we known people would go in, we'd probably have neatened the room a bit haha! P.S don't skip the sushi restaurant a few doors down from the hotel. The sushi was EXQUISITE and they even have a phonetic Japanese to English page at the front so you can have a go at ordering properly with the chef.

Malý 6pokojový zájezdní hostinec s možností stravování v ryokanu a útulným interiérem se nachází jen pár minut jízdy od opičího parku Jigokudani a 8 minut chůze od vlakového nádraží Yudanaka. I wish I could speak Japanese to express 100% my feelings to the owners when we left. We had an AMAZING experience, from the picking up on the train station to the comfy beds and outstanding dinner. The onsen baths was really good, and the shared bathroom was not a problem at all since, in practice, the shower is in the onsen space. Last thing: they also took us to the station by car in the early morning. So kind! We definitely left the place in better mind and shape even staying just for one night.

Aburaya Tousen offers luxurious contemporary Japanese-style accommodation with an amazing 11 types of hot-spring baths and free WiFi. Dinnner, room and the private sauna and onsen (yes, there were both in the room!) was fabulous. The room also came with a dining room where the chef came to prepare dinner..

Hotel Tsubakino se nachází 3 minuty chůze od nádraží Yudanaka a nabízí vnitřní i venkovní termální lázně s výhledem na zasněžené vrcholky hor. Hotel nabízí pokoje v japonském stylu s bezplatným Wi-Fi.... Proximty to train station, private (outdoor) bath area available for reservation and the food was EXCELLENT.

Kamei-no-Yu se může pochlubit vnitřními i venkovními termálními lázněmi a nabízí tradiční ubytování obklopené krásnou japonskou zahradou a rybníky. Ve všech prostorách je zdarma dostupné Wi-Fi. The staff was just beyond wonderful.

Yudanaka Seifuso se nachází v oblasti horkých pramenů Yudanaka, uprostřed malebných hor. Nabízí 3 termální koupele a pokoje v tradičním japonském stylu s rohožemi tatami (tkaná sláma). Traditional ryokan with very rustic feel, exactly what we wanted. Location is right by the station which is super convenient, and there is a Lawson and 7-11 within 3-min walk. There is a private onsen which you can go to for free without paying extra! You just go in and lock the door and it’s yours for however long you want. They provided free tea and cookies in our room daily. One of the owners was kind enough to drive us to the Snow Monkey park, which we appreciated a lot !!

Located a 7-minute walk from Yudanaka Train Station, Hotel Housei offers free WiFi access, indoor/outdoor hot spring baths and air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms. Onsen was great and open all night. They had a free shuttle to the monkey park and to the station. We had a great time and i would always go back there if i came back to that area
